@NZMeathead Sport bikes do police a favor when they stop. Most of the time they just let you go and its a slap on the wrist if they stop. If punishment gets severe...well..you think they will stop then? Probably not...then the chase is on where the Police car has no chance of catching a bike, then if a bike is even pursued...this is when others are in danger because you have a bike going 150+ in no more than 4 street blocks...Attempted manslaughter by pursuing.

its amazing how cops USUALLY are cool when you stop. I was doin 80+ in a 45 (it was through a rock quarry so there were no side streets) and a NC trooper in a charger comin the other way stopped and turned around on me. I thought about it (running) but decided to pull over before he got up on me, so i was waiting for him. He gave me a ticket for 60 in a 45. He could have given me a reckless ticket and fucked my driving record up. My advice?? don't piss off a cop, just stop.
