I've had laughing gas 3 times and I've never acted strange. Personally I think people put it on - but you do feel out of it and your body's tingly and you either feel lighter or heavier.

i just got my teeth pulled today and that laughing gas is a pretty intense high then when they give you the Anesthesia shot you just still feel the same as before.... and then you just wake up. its soo weird you still fell a little high when you wake up

I remember getting laughing gas once. The dentists started asking me questions and I answered them clearly without a delay. I knew they were testing me to see if they could start the procedure, but I answered too much questions, so they really turned up the gas and I felt weird throughout the whole day.

Had this stuff today (Getting a cavity filled) And daamn.. I was all like: "Oh yeah, I'm so afraid of dentist, better give me some laughing gas!", giggling to myself: "YES! Again!"

But laughing gas seriously made me want to laugh.. I could still feel a strong, stabbing pain in my tooth while they were drilling - I just wanted to laugh, dunno why.

The best thing is, that I have to go again in a month.. Laughing gas again! :D I'll try to ask them to turn it up...

you can get laughing gas over the counter, it used to be really easy to get now they hide it and have to ask for it. reallllly fun, but shouldn't be used over excess.

@yunanagisa Heck yes, it's legal. I just had my wisdom teeth out this morning, and that stuff is so trippy. I tried to stop myself from laughing because I knew nothing was funny but I couldn't. And I knew people were talking to me, but all the sounds started to melt together and I couldn't hear the music vs. the nurse, so I just responded to whatever I heard, and I'm pretty sure none of it made sense. :)

Laughing Gas is soo bizarre! For instance...He was asking me questions (future dentist myself) and I wanted to respond but my mouth wouldn't let me talk!? My eyes do weird stuff and my whole body buzzes/floats! I unfortunatley have another cavity!?!?! But atleast I get this stuff again!!!
