Putting men on the moon's got nothing to do with Gill Scott Heron's personal problems. This is comparing apples to oranges.
For a long time it was something of a status symbol for young black people to flunk math or science, and it's stuff like this that made it that way. This is one of the most destructive concepts in the history of the Black race.
