The heart of a champion!! injured throughout the tournament but prevailed to collect her 5th Aussie. This is 110% mental workhorse and 75% physical, BRILLIANT!!!!!!!!

I'm confused: at 6:06 Radwanska hits a backhand that is called out on the right sideline (from the viewer's angle). Then she challenges, and HawkEye (or whatever it's called) shows a ball that is hit back at the BASELINE where Serena is standing. They reviewed the wrong shot, didn't they? Doesn't matter in the long run...
@bjdm3089 WOW, I never noticed that and I watched the match live and have seen these highlights before. But you are right, her shot was wide by the service line and nowhere near the baseline. I'm sure Serena wasn't too concerned being as that neither Radwanska is a threat to her.
@bjdm3089 The umpire said, "Miss Radwanska is challenging the call on the right baseline, the call was out". That was the umpire's mistake, not the machine. Ridiculous.
@Leomerya12 I didn't ever think the machine tracked the ball wrongly; I was simply pointing out that what was shown on the TV was not the ball that Radwanska requested to review. Yes, it was the umpire's error; although it is interesting that neither player spoke up about the error.
If Serena wants to move like she did 2002 she can. Her injuries limits her nowadays so she depends on other aspects of her game. But she I still the best move along with her sister.
As a player it must be a horrible and helpless feeling playing Serena in the first round of a slam to know that you are just gonna be out there to collect that check and go about your business. lol
That was a beautiful dropshot by Radwanska and Serena still manage to not only return it but return it for a winner!! I love it when Serena beats everybody's asses!
Radwanska should have really left the dropshot in the bag, because she tried it like 3 or 4 times and was burned each time. I'm sure against the caliber of player she is used to playing it's pretty effective, but Serena's fast enough to run most drop shots down. As speaking of things left in the bag, what's up with Radwanska wearing Nike clothing and an Addidas visor?
OMG! I didn't even notice that, LOL. I don't think that Radwanska is being sponsored by anybody. That dropshot by Radwanska just further prove how fast & talented Serena really is. It's a shame that Serena doesn't get the full credit that she deserves in relation to her talent.
Yeah, I too have noticed that some writers and commentators don't give her full credit for her mobility. I've heard Mary Carillo talking about her not moving as well as she used to and Peter (dumbass) Bodo saying that she'd have a hard time at the French because girls can outmaneuver her. Um, who are all of thes girls on tour that they think move better than Serena, and WHERE are their MAJOR titles to show for it???

@bjdm3089 I apologize. It's still ridiculous. I'm sure Rad and Ser had completely different reasons for not challenging the... challenge.
