there is no point in spl subwoofers in a sealed box, you have mixed sub sizes which means you have frequencies running rampant and tons of noise cancellation. and you mixed orion with junk like mtx. start over it will be much better.

Very Nice system, one of the best I have seen. Very clean, clear. I notice the car doesnt seem to rattle and flex horribly, considering the amount of power you have going through there. You deffinately took ur time to perfect the entire deal...It must sound so crystal clear in person..  Very Nice!!!!!! Now i have to sell my 4 15's to get me 2 of those Orions.....

@beastboy911 No problems with facing them forward because I e-mailed orion and they told me that angled mounting is ok! But it's kind of confusing because in their instruction manual it say's due to the extremely long excursion and high temperature possibilities of this woofer, it is recommended that when the woofer is installed it be positioned so that the cone either faces upward or downward only. Seems kind of contradictory does'nt it?

I want to throw a set in my next car. Do you hear the cone moving alot since the subs are faced forward? well how many farads is your capacitor? and just one battery? what is the CCA of the battery and your alternator could be it if that is still stock

@nottinmatterz2day Sorry it took so long to reply but I have a 3 farad Power Akoustic capacitor. I have a Die Hard battery and the stock alternator. The battery is a top of the line battery that has posts on it for hooking up stereo equipment and its supposed to be better than Optimas so the battery is not the problem. Probably the alternator.

i would look into a high output alternator and replacing your capacitor with either a larger capacitor if yours is a small one. or if you already have a larg capacitor look into a cap-cell

depends on your subs, look up their manual to see if they can be set frontwards. The manual for these said not to but my brother called Orion and a guy said it is okay, as well as the technician that installed these said they've been installed this way with no problems.

You should go sealed box for better quality, ported pushes more air, more bass, but lower quality and requires bigger box.
