I believe she is saying ich wrong it should be pronounced like "ick" not "ish" if she were to sing this in Germany they would say she has a country accent. She has beautiful tone quality, but I'm sitting at my computer and looking at my sheet music, She comes in to soon on the last " so gar im traum" ( last line of the song) there are 2 rests= 4 beats that she just ignored totally ignored.
@TheCoffeeShopCutie operatic german is not pronounced like spoken german. in some cases, a singer will pronounced it like "ickh" depending on the piece...but in many other cases, musical purposes, many singers sing something closer to ish, which is more than acceptable, professionally. on top of that...there are various different pronunciations for spoken High-German, there are many ways to interpret certain words. i've heard German singers use both pronunciations.

Hi,
"ich" spoken like "ick" is only a dialect, which is only spoken in and near Berlin. So the way she sings it here fits better with High-German.
But She pronounce it like the "sh" in the english "she" and that is not really correct either, but it´s better than "ick".
But anyway: I like this version very much. It´s got the feeling, that´s what important about music. :)

That sounds awesome. Does the lady speak German? If not, even more points for authenticity!
