what makes me wonder how come so many pepole know the maikos and geishas by name is veen that on a lot of videos they say oh thats whats her name[mentioning the girls name] do maikos have internet acces like face books or you tube accounts
Do they ignore the people they pass cause they are is such a hurry to get to their next appointment? I wonder if they ever get annoyed at the tourist.
She's a senior maiko. Her white collar just means she's very high ranking and will soon enter her sakkou period. So you're really close, but no geiko cigar this time.
Ahh, coming back to this vid I'm laughing at myself for making that comment, of course she's a Maiko-san! Her Ofuku hairstyle [indicating she's had over 3 years experience as a Maiko-san), long obi and furisode kimono! I love her Kinchaku though, I have a pic of her with the same ensemble ^^ Thankyou again anyway ^^;; I'm so glad she's now a Geiko ^^

It is her hairstyle which says she is a senior; it is called ofuku and it has a red cloth which means she just a senior maiko. If her cloth was pink, then she was close to sakkou period and then erikae.
