So is the move a botch or is it actually supposed to be like that? From what I've read in the description, it was a botch the first time and intended every time after that?
Legend has it that the first use was a botch, which was then turned into a sort of big match finisher(he wouldn't use it again for three and a half years).
Dude, he said he was trolling IN THE SAME COMMENT. Are you retarded? No offense, but generally when someone says they're trolling it means they're trolling, and you definitely just fell for it.
Burning Hammer looks cooler from a presentation standpoint, but the TD91 required a lot more control and strength to keep it from really breaking the opponent's neck.
Now I'm really convinced that the Tiger Driver '91 is much more deadly than the Burning Hammer, but either way, I wouldn't wanna take either move, cause I'd die anyway.
Why, exactly, would you put it ahead of the Burning Hammer? That's just being a little too dramatic in my opinion.
The TD '91 is definately dangerous, but take into account the height of the fall, and the direction the body is falling. It's not nearly as dangerous as the Burning Hammer.
Interesting. I knew she did a kneeling TD with the victim held tight against her (sorta tombstone like), but I hadn't realised she did this as well. Still, shouldn't be suprised. She's one of the most inventive wrestlers ever :)
So the 91' would be a sheerdrop move or a head drop move? And you know the match at :16 was a great match because one of the announcer was losing his voice.
Japanese commentary is hilarious, not trying to be racist.

Insane move and the commentary just elevates it even further!

@TheSuicidalDragon Well it's certainly effective nonetheless =p Looks sickening...love it!

@TheSuicidalDragon
I highly doubt it was a botch, considering he didn't land in a sit out position. Secondly, he used the move twice in '91, once against Kobashi.

did i really just see Ryo Saito get it as well? :S

Haha. The last one, in the announcer's screams, makes it seem that much more lethal. Which I won't be surprised if it actually is. Damn. ._.

so was this a botch move as well?
maybe SD could do a list of awesome moves that came around as a result of botches?

@TheSuicidalDragon To be fair, Misawa took his fair share (four?) of Kobashi's Burning Hammers.

Tiger Driver '91...one of the most, if not THE most dangerous move I've seen from puroresu (I'll put it even ahead of the Burning Hammer).

Yes, the Burning Hammer, does have some devastating effects, but I just feel the TD '91 more of a devastating move you know.

oh my god. what a fucking ridiculous move. I'll probably get shot for this, but I think the move is unnecessarily dangerous.

Japanese wrestlers train themselves and do neck exercises to make their necks strong to take the worst and the move is awsome

well, considering Misawa was the favourite target of Kobashi`s Burning hammer, it only seems fair, no?
