If I attempt this achievement and accidentally kill an Engineer, can I just revert to a checkpoint and it'll reset my kill? Or do I have to restart the entire campaign?

Also, I heard somewhere if you kill a squad of Covenant that an Engineer is protecting, they self-destruct. Is this true, and will I fail the Achievement if that happens?

If im not correct, the only way u get this achievement is completing the entire game in one difficulty WITHOUT killing any of the engineers. If you kill an engineer, u won't get the achievement. I'm just saying cuz thats what i've been reading.

@MellonDramatic haha, this video was done right after the game came out and it was not easy to figure out how to get the achievement, on my first play through we had three players and two of us did not get it and one did so it. Yea if you don't get the achievement the first time or kill one of them then you have to replay the game to get it.

Wtf. These engineer f@ckers explode by themselves. I noticed that if they're protecting covenant, and you kill the covenant they're protecting, they blow up. So what am I supposed to do, let the covenant shoot me while I try to get passed them to my objective?

@AnnoyingingeXD okay this might be old to u but I found out that u can still get good samaritan or how ever u spell it as long as u don't kill any as the rookie. if you're buck or any other character and u kill an engineer, u'll still get the achievement :D

This is very easy to get.

start the campaign with the Prepare to Drop mission

NOT MOMBASA STREETS

Then just beat the campaign until the level data hive and you get good samaritan

There is an exception. You can kill as many engineers as you want on kikowani station, so this guy is wrong haha
