here is why Nash is the best pg ever. Most 50-40-90's in nba history, plus leading ft% in history of nba=best all around shooter ever. 5 or 6 assist titles and 6th all time in assists and at the rate hes going he will make 3rd all time in assists behind kidd and stockton. he has the ability to take over the game with both passing and scoring, he hits the most rediculous faders, floaters, in traffic layups, etc. His only down point is his defence. he is one of the worst defensive pg's ever.

Taking longevity into account he's better than Kidd.
Unless Kidd wins that ring this year, that should turn it in his favor.
Nash might be a top 5 PG to ever play the game.
He's top 3 all-time in shooting if not goat.
He's top 3 all-time in passing if not goat.
Definitely goat at them combined.

@haggiss Who literally has every facet of the game? In the last few years Nash has tried a lot harder to just stay in front, and the majority of the time he has succeeded, nobody can argue he is good defensively, but he does at least try, everybody does get beaten defensively, just happens to Nash a bit more than others, mostly due to athleticism. If Nash isn't in your top 10 passing and shooting combined, who can you put in there?

@mrgtjke GOATS have every facet of the game Stockton, Oscar Robinson for example, agreed he is top 10 offensive point guards but unfortunately for Nash there's more to basketball than passing and shooting
