Thats wild mate!! Many thanks for all your vids. Used to spend a lot of time in the Latino Club in N' Castle. I'ts the one were you go down steps into the club. Probably renamed today. Cheers.
thought so.... I was watching a few more of your videos and had a chuckle to myself... my friend and I have just started wild camping and had our first stay in a Bothy last weekend - we love it.... thanks for the entertainment...
I watched David's video also and was able to get a better feel for what you guys had to deal with...great job. Did you have to leave the door open all of the time so that the fireplace would draft right? So glad you boys didn't get afixiated by the fumes and gases. Have decided to keep up with your hillwalking adventures via videos uploaded to YT. Thanks Paul for taking us along and keeping David out of trouble. LOL
@BarefootsChild google paulswildcamping that should get you my blog and themuss78 on twitter sometimes i do a social hiking follow me live on that??? thanks again
Yes I agree keeping it real adds much to the videos attraction...you don't want to see a travelogue all of the time. The landscape views could have used a real slow pan to allow for easier viewing without having to pause to focus on something. Your videos are very inspiring. For me it is the reality of the whole thing. Great how the bothy just blended into the scenery.
Excellent stuff lads. Brilliant to see something like this which is informative and passionate about the outdoors but also entertaining & genuinely funny! Best of its kind on the web! (Oh...& the swearing is an added bonus!)
Looks like a great place to spend the night, the fire looked fantastic, and the steak, mouth is watering writing this now, haha, loved the multi-cam shots, looks very professional. A very enjoyable video, with great views too . Cheers lads :-)
@007vauxhall thanks for your comment its a pleasure to do these videos and it takes time to get it sorted but a pleasure when you know people enjoy them thanks
Definitely the way to go ... Multicam, it adds something different to normal videos, is that bothy located on a OS map ? Might try this some day, I was up at haystacks yesterday (1st march) I kept an eye out for this after watching daves vid but it looks hard to spot
@chris25119600 yea when I did a test in the house it worked really well, it was really dark in the bothy and uploading takes even more light out of the video so its pretty dark cheers for your comment I'll pm you about the bothy
Great video. Two camera's that's a great idea but with all that gear you two carry you need a donkey or a couple of sherpas in tow. Did the sparks of the barbecue put holes in your Berghaus jacket ?
@CarlHolcroft Cheers lots of ways to use the multicamera too but much better and more affective in daylight, Berghaus jacket did its job but all my gear has been washed due to smell of fire lol, couple of sherpas now theres an idea so if anyone fancy it drop my an email lol
Nice one mate that steak looks rare much rarer than mine looks good camera work with two cameras but that may have contributed to the probs you had with the file format been different on each camera I noticed the quality isn't upto your usual hd checkout my contribution to our stay in warnscale bothy.
@goofa6641 I have mate put it as a video response, I've spent so much time messing about with this I couldn't be bothered to try different settings for it too look better I might on my next video fleetwith pike
Sweet mate, I thought it was gona be a bit long but flew over. I like the multicam you just need to work with it more and make it less obvious, which you probably know. The more of your vids I watch the less I wanna go. The only thing that will get me there is when I get a DH bike and I can ride those slopes, now that would make a sweet vid, you up for filming duties.
I am testing my new idea of multicamera it would be nice to know what people think of it it was dark in the bothy so not the best conditions I also had the other camera in shot but would you like to see it more ?
nice one
