  • Very helpful, just got an '88 today!

  • what software would you reccomend?

  • @ThebBoyinthemaking Depends For making beats if you can get Native Instruments maschine get it. Or i'm really liking the akai mpc renaissance don't know what the price is though. If you just want beatmaking software you can't go wrong with FL Studio. For sounds to use with the controller NI have a great library of all kinds of sounds. Check out Komplete it's a bundle of Native Instruments sound modules.

  • God bless you brother'

  • wait so what do u press so sound works O:

  • @ThebBoyinthemaking the keystation doen't have sounds. it's just a controller. If you're using midi make sure your software is set to omni or channel 1. if your using usb make sure midi out from usb is on. But you need some kind of sound module . it doesn't have sounds in it.

  • Thank you for this nice review :)

  • good video ! i wish you would of got more detailed on the zone section for performance

  • @72cpugeek I wish i could but i don't use it for performances. I really don't use the zones at all. I just stick with the one and never change it.

  • @BigRiz23 im going to figure out bruh and im going to post it for ya !

  • Why the power? It can use USB power

  • @Tonkiainen Certain applications call for powerchord. I think it was my roland Fantom XR or something. Would not work useless it was running off the powerchord.

  • Nice Vid!! I got one question tho. How due you assing drum sounds using Boom on Protools, to the snapshot pads? I saw somewhere that you can use those snapshot pads as you would MPC pads.

  • @Fozgate4000 I haven't done that myself but you would need something like NI Battery to hold the sounds and then if everything is connected right assign the pad to the sound in Battery. I've assigned sounds in battery before to an M-Audio trigger Finger and could see the process working similarly.

  • thanks for the video it was very helpful but i have a question where can i get a poster like the one you were standing in front of i really like it email me plz with the info mixxd.ent@gmail.com

    thanks alot

  • @smashmix damn sorry this got marked as spam and i didn't even see it. The poster i got from FYE. It's a music store with all kinds of figurines and t-shirts.

  • can ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,i use it without computer

because i want to buy this for live stage programme...

  • @0210princehassan yes you can but you will need some kind of sound module. like a roland fantom xr or a yamaha rack unit. It does not have any sounds in it.

  • is oxygen 88 better?

  • @gotitans999 I know the key station has more assignable buttons, knobs and faders but the oxygen is probably the newer of the two and has some other features that the key station lacks. But they both are around the same price point. If I had the choice again I would save my money and just go buy the 88 key Roland fantom or the yamaha. At least the sounds you wanted would be one the panel right in front of you.

  • Lavivazza sucks for you. Hope u still got something out of it.

  • I'm sorry, but the background music was distracting!

  • This was definitely a help for me thanks

  • drumkey is right. and bigriz you did inspire me to make music. thanks bruh!

  • Thanks for sharing your knowledge!

  • This is more helpful than the manual, thank you!!

  • BigRiz thanks for the vid. Appreciate that you took your time out to make a video. Helped me loads and hopefully others to. Enough respect goes to ya for helping us all. Thanks again fam!

  • good shit
