Unfortunately, the SL1 branch of the Silver Line can not use LRVs. The FHA and FRA will not allow tracks to be laid on an interstate highway (I-90). Converting the SL1 to rail would require yet another tunnel under the Boston Harbor which would require a significant amount of money that the MBTA does not have.
it was the weirdest thing, it stopped outside world trade center, then went to silver line way, then into the tunnel and into the inside of world trade center. Maybe it always does this???
they run a few different routes. one just goes to silver line way and turns around, another goes to the airport, and another one goes to the design center. you're right though, that they need to be trains. rapid transit my foot!
@jdgator95 Its not "weird" if you really think about it. The stop on the street services Congress St, & Seaport Hotel. It is a "drop-off only" stop. There are passengers other than you for this stop is convienient. When the SilverLine originally started, this stop was not online.
i thaught its gunna be train, not a dam bus

I agree with your comment, jdgator95. I would rather see the SL busses replaced with real LRVs or TRAINS!
