Bass are big on lake Fork, but so are the catfish, they can really tear up the tackle.

Fish after dark and because of the stumps use spider wire.

caught a 6.5 pounder up there at fork, and the same day i had a huge grenel slam my yellow magic and a couple other really nice fish as well as alot of bass between 10 ans 16 inches

Yeah, I have a question. I just caught one big bass and put in my tank. But no matter how much alive fish i feed the bass, it won't eat at all? It's been 2 days now? He might die soon? Any help?

idk about any where in the country.. ive caught lots of tens on clear lake, and theres way better lakes for lunkers that have trout in them

I live here on fork right less that 1.5 miles of this marina lake fork has some of the best fishing for large mouth in the world

I was wondering about how good the fishing really is down there because i heard it was awsome and im coming down there to fish over the summer with my uncle

It is awesome in the summer as long as it doesn't get insanely hot. This fish put on a few pounds and is now released back into the lake for the next lucky angler.

i went about a month ago and caught a 6 pnd bass in the late morning and it was already pussin 100 degrees i was using a dd22 charechruse crankbait and i caught it in little caney creek

Chances are you did not do real well. That is the case in bass fishing anywhere.

But you chances of catching a 10+ are better at Fork than any where in the country. Numbers can be great also, but it is bass fishing in the end.....
