Other examples: when fighting zombies, when fighting in a boxing ring or fighting arena, and some boss battles where the boss isnt stationary and above all when fighting in real life although when guns or ranged weapons are put into the situation i suggest taking cover or serpentine

I actually LIKE this game MORE than L4D surpringly. L4D is so easy that it's like a chore running through it. Killing Floor is fun and challenging. My friends have a joke when the patriarch appears, we say "Wanting a bite?" Whatever the fuck he says when he fires a rocket sounds like that.

I never played the mod version of KF, but it looks like a lot of it was way better. I really like the old HUD, West London, andPatriarch. In the retail KF they kinda made everything look... friendlier... I just call the Patriarch Pat now because he isn't really intimidating, just looks like Ozzy.

Someone I think has made all the specimens look like they used too in a mod, with the new retail game. I never played the this version of the game, but I think its pretty fun. And for £10 I think its nearly as good as 4x expensive left 4 dead 2 which I think is an achievement by such a small company as Tripwire is.

Yeah its way better than L4D could ever be, I just don't like the way that the mod version was more of a horror game and they turned it into a fps/action, still the best game I've ever played though.

And if you mean the mutator, it just changes the way specimens look, nothing else, and its glitchy. You can't get headshots with it on either.

Oh ok, that's a shame :( I think if they were ever gonna make a KF 2 it should have some sort of campaign - like mode - as well normal muitlplayer. Plus the specimens in the newer one look more - 'clean'? - with the next I could understand if one map per say Biotics Lab that most of them were 'clean' cause they had been recently made, while in Farm they would be drenched in blood! lol I personally prefer the new 'Patty' cause he looks more i dunno...just more ha ha in your face when you beat him

Yes this is the old MOD version with the new boss and updated weapons like the new bullpup skin. The game went retail instead of releasing the 2.51 version but kept most of the things it was gonna have.

got this game yesterday weve found out how to make 32 or even 50 man servers!, each player increases wave size, we welded the church doors shut n hopes for the best, they broke in one side, couple people tried to run, (and died) and then the other door broke, eventually it ended in an epic 200 vs 5 battle in the church, i was one of last people up in the little box where you preach to people, with a pistol (i had run out of shotgun ammo),

There's a new retail edition on Steam, 20 bux. It's awesome, kinda like a redesign of 2.5 of the mod. You should buy it, it's more than worth the price. Plus there's a SDK and growing community so I'm sure there will be new maps and skins too.

This looks alright but I like the CounterStikeZombie mod style of boxing up a room and having the hoarde gradually smash its way through. This seems a little too hollywood, although it looks great and I'll probaly buy myself a copy. Infact, even though CSS mod isn't a proper game in itself, there are aspects of it I prefer to L4D and this game by the looks of it.
