My apology for double post but when you mentioned the "original" indicator (above the doors), that black thing is an actually a message display like if doors are held too long, it'd say, "Please step out of doors." or stuff like that.

Ah, yes, I remembered these elevators when I was at RIT/NTID for college. These elevators are "famous" for breaking down a LOT.

That's one fast dorm elevator. The tallest dorms here (Clement/Greene/White) only have 200 FPM for 10 floors!

Thank god they put a protection thingy over the indicator so people can't scratch it up, and if they do, all they have to do is replace the protection thingy, not the entire indicator.

That capacity plate could have been from General Elevator. It is just like the one in the General Elevator that I filmed, right down to the capacity.
