  • Cool chopper man what's that thing cost ya I'm looking into buying 1

  • Sub trims causing that sway. If not fixed it will break ur heli son

  • Wow. Better trim it Lower to the ground. Almost hit the bushes. Nice heli

  • nice to see this video

  • Nice. Bit of ground resonance to the end

  • cool man

  • awesome!

  • Awesome to see and more importantly HEAR this great heli, without the cheesey airwolf theme playing over it.

Nice nose-in flying and great vid. 5 stars

  • Can you please give me the website addrs. to where you got that airwolf body from PLEASE!

  • Why did u get the T rex 600 and have the tail blade on the wrong side? because regular airwolfs have it on the other side

  • @USAFBlachawk It is the T-Rex 600 electric with landing skids removed and frame mounted instead to the Century fuselage by means of some custom wooden blocks expoxied to the fuselage inside base.

Blades are £40 carbon fibre ones (I don't recall the kit coming with blades.

I did look at switching the tail rotor to the other side but couldn't work out a way of being able to do so cleanly with the T-Rex kit.

I figured that only the real avid Airwolf fans would even notice!

  • @christofg1 How do u switch the the tail rotors around??? and the trex 600 doesnt come with blades...?

  • So everything is the same from the T-rex including the blades and everything except fuselage

  • Nice !!!

  • Wow! Great control nose in with them winds! Excellent flying!

  • very nice....

  • this is the kind of stuff I like to see... None of that unrealistic 3-d "stuff" Scale flying is where its at!

  • Nice to see a vid of this great heli without the stupid Airwolf music! I love Airwolf, but the music in almost every replica vid is getting annoying now.

    Beautiful machine!

  • Yes, it does look good. A steal at $449.95. I'm getting one!

  • IS this the fuselage from Century?

  • Yes... pre-painted variety... paintwork is outstandingly good.

  • what batteries are you using and how do you change them?

  • Thats a beautiful bird,Always loved the AirWolf heli.Well done on an excellent build and hard work!.Did i mention it was nice.5*

  • Standard (ie. not carbon) kit... using standard align brushless motor and align ESC.

  • hey there, nice Heli. Is that the Cf or the GF version of the 600. Which motor and ESC btw ?

  • Reduce your headspeed, and the sensitivity will go down. Be careful!

  • Change your collective-pitch and trhottle curves, so you have a little more pitch in your blades, and hover at half-throttle. See my Century Airwolf .50 videos. I run a lower head speed. Japanese pilots typically use longer blades and a lower headspeed, and they have really stable, great results, even in gusty-conditions.

  • @Beamshipcaptain How much longer blades & how do you figure it?... Thanks ... Flingwinger

  • Try 600 mm bldes, helimax carbon fiber main and tail blades, and a lower headspeed. Be careful!

Can't wait for flying season! We just got 2 feet of snow!!!

  • is that in united states

  • No... UK!

  • No mods to the heli mechanics but I did have to create some mounting blocks to raise the main body off the base of the fuselage by about 2cm and slightly angled so that the tail boom was perfectly aligned down the fuselage boom.

  • meh, he was just trying to trim them! lol, I know how you feel, a few more hours on G4 sim ill be up and flying. What fuselage did you use for your 600? I have a 500 and maybe grab a 600 as well. Great vid,

  • I used one of the Funky/Century fuselages - I think it was the 50 size one and I opted for the pre-painted version... finish is fantastic!

  • I too opted for the painted version , and was beyond pleased with the finish , well worth the extra money .

  • Good luck =) and take it slow. Nice model.

  • Good job keeping it steady, you came so close to the bushes a few times, my gosh! =)

  • There's 3 main reasons for that:

    1. I'm still a novice pilot,

    2. This was my first flight so I hadn't been able to trim the Exponential on the controls and had no idea how they would handle

    3. I'm actually standing just out of left screen and therefore flying with the controls in 90 degree translation... back to the novice pilot bit :-)
