Why don't you just translate the PC version? What has that to do with their money? I mean they said THEY WILL NOT TRANSLATE THE PC VERSION, they already released Trais in the Sky, now what will they lose if you guys continue your translation? I found a way to do it myself with some Agatha programme, but I can't find the site anymore... Meh, you even have the translation from the PSP game.

@JustASuscriber The translation from the PSP version belongs to XSEED. I will not use it. There have also been talks from XSEED to see if it's in their power to do some Steam releases, per their twitter.

The problem with translating the PC version is that it's easily pirated, and people will go and nab that instead of the PSP version if I put my patch out there. They still have a lot to lose at this point, considering that they're doing the planning steps for SC, which is a bigger game.

@JustASuscriber By this point, we have moved on. We have been in the "moved on" status for over a year. We no longer have the tools and ability to do anymore insertions or so forth. That is why I say to not ask us to continue. We will not redevelop the tools.

@omgfloofy I've got a copy of my friends Sora no Kiseki FC (his PSP burned out for how lucky I am), I've tried to use ED6_DT01.DAT and ED6_DT01.DIR (that have the Eng Translation) and copied them into the ED6_WIN file to see if it works... It did, until I've got to Milch Main Road and it crashed. Oh well I've saw the second comment, that means you can't help me fix the crash am I right? If you can help me just message me again. Thanks!

@JustASuscriber I do know someone else who has attempted to plug the PSP script into the PC version, but I'm not sure if it will work anyway. There are a lot of of things in the PSP version that aren't in the PC version. There may be issues because of that. When we were working on the game itself, we had to actually pull text from the PSP version at one point, because we couldn't find where it was stored on the PC version.

While I won't help, no offense... I also don't know enough to help.

@omgfloofy I'd love to support XSEED, but I refuse to support Sony (SCEA) by buying a PSP after what they've done (PSN data espionage and legal action against LG for a technology that just can't be monopolized). They should go fuck themselves.

@eangelos89 Then don't support Sony, but in the process of not supporting Sony, you won't be getting the exclusives. That's what happens when you do a boycott. You don't boycott McDonald's and get their fries for free, somehow.

I will not be giving anything out for people to play. It's your prerogative to act as you want in return for what happened with PSN. I don't mind. Keep in mind that if I released this game, it hurt XSEED significantly more than it would hurt Sony.

I really hate the sprites they use for the Legend of Heroes series...I wish they were more expressive or more anime styled. They are worse than those sprites in the Atelier games.

Looks great. I hope this is still going well. I would love to see a finished project someday. Legend of heroes is a great series that is unrecognized for its story and gameplay. I played Tears of Vermilion, Prophecy of the Witch, and Song of the Ocean all on PSP. It was out of order of course but incredible series and I wish this would be released as well.

Give them time jeez. You gotta understand programming isnt easy. Takes a lot of work and one tiny mistake and the game won't work anymore. I'm just glad someone is actually translating I thought I was gonna have to take up Japanese to play the game cause I love the battle and character seem awesome. good luck guys I do have a bit of experience in programming but I'm no translator lol

I looked at you guys' translation site for the game.....And I saw it was at 15% just like how it was a year ago or so....Has the percent really stayed the same that long or is that site just isn't updated yet, I'm just worried that's all... ^^;

Estelle is a nice change of pace compared to most Female rpg characters like Marle (Chrono Trigger), Tifa or Aeris (FF7) or Yuna (FFX)

That translation is also almost a year old and probably done while I was drunk or something. If my priorities weren't set on completing the rest of the script, I'd rewrite almost the whole thing...
