That cant possibly be the actual wreck he died from...from what i have heard he fell from several stories high doing a double backflip and jumped off at the apex height of his jump and fell straight on his neck....i could be wrong i dont know if i am please someone let me know...

@ryanloy133 if he wasn't wearing a Leatt brace his neck would have snapped in half guaranteed. My brother broke his neck when riding and now he wears a Leatt brace

@mrmager192 he did break his kneck sadly... if he had survived he would most probably have been paralised, he started to recover in hospital (except his neck) but then sadly took a turn for the worst :( RIP JEREMY LUSK!

Brian Deegan and numerous other FMX riders talk about the importance of wearing a neck brace all the time. They said since the death of Jeremy Lusk it is now common practice for all FMX riders to wear neck braces. Check your facts buddy!

@bjharts jeremy died of head truama it had 0 NOTHING to do with the neck brace. the neck brace worsens injurys your just basing it off what fmx riders said years ago when it first came out. YOUR TALKING TO A REAL MOTOCROSS RACER HERE. also ask Ricky Carmichael, James stewart, Chad reed , Mike Alessi. why they dont and never have wore a neck brace. how about ask people like Eric Saunders. who is paralyzed because of these things. @ryanloy133 How can ANYONE "start to recover" from "head trauma?" It looked as though he snapped his neck because, he landed on his head (which, PROBABLY compressed his spine in the neck, causing it to severely damage the spinal nerve).

That cant possibly be the actual wreck he died from...from what i have heard he fell from several stories high doing a double backflip and jumped off at the apex height of his jump and fell straight on his neck....i could be wrong i dont know if i am please someone let me know...

he suffered fatal brain damage when he fell and also sustained injuries such as a ruptured spleen. he was alive at that point, but died the next day after entering cardiac and respiratory failure
