  • nice, clean install

  • @blissJesus1 Thank you so much!

  • How in the world did you get lucky enough to get the one furnace change out that had a straight enough galvanized flue to allow the new PVC flue to just slide inside it? I’ve been doing a ton of those 95% furnace upgrades because the tax credit and every one of them had a hundred elbows in the flue ducting.

Do you use cellular core PVC of solid core PVC? I only ask because my HVAC supplier’s only carrier cellular core for furnace venting which is not the correct PVC for flues.

  • @ComfortAirCompany Hey your message slip pass me!! I have been real lucky lately!! not so next week! All my jobs I use solid core PVC, I have never used cellular core.

  • does this unit have enough combustion air?? im jus asking because i didn't see a vented door or a place where the unit can recieve some air... because if it isn't vented properly in another 2 years this unit will be no good... not crticizing jus asking...

  • @vaynol81 No problem! If you look at the upper left hand side there is a upper combustion air and there is two behind the furance @ 2:34 you can see one of two.The combustion air communicate with the attic.

  • test

  • Another good install! Hope you go into the t-stat set up menu and set up the CPH correct?

  • @jay11j Thank you! I does take me some time to set up the unit for proper operation! No only do I have to set up the t-stat I also have to do a state required duct pressure test a refrigerant verification test.

  • Work to be proud of, for sure.

  • @cobitech Thank so much!!

  • Nice install. How come no fresh air vent? I like that leak test, did you just run a hose from outside?

  • @mazzmari There are 3 fresh air vent in the closet. There is one by the Pvc vent and two lower combustion air vents behind the furance. The leak test was done with a one gallon milk jug, I like to make sure there is no leaks and it is easy.

  • Very nice work Dallas as always!!

  • @Bucs80SC Thank you!

  • Nice job there Mr. Dallas, very clean as always.

Did you run that pvc all the way to the roof threw the old b-vent?

  • @Nutintoitbut2doit Ya I ran the pvc threw the B-vent and then put a special cap on the top to blend with the roof. Thank VU

  • @dizziedallas Cool, did you make it? Just wondering for my own use.

    VuVu

  • nice job

  • @freonfreak65 Thank you very much!

  • Do you EVER do sloppy installs? You must be cleaning up with referral work! The return is very quiet for a closet set. Did you baffle it?

Top quality work, bro. Very clean.

  • @PutSome5tankOn I didn't baffle the return because there is a stairwell on the left hand side and it was pretty big I got lucky on that one.I lot of the job you see are referrals,it kind of tough out there with the economy so all my jobs have to be top notch! Thanks for all of your great comments 5tank!!!
