Yurdunu Allah'a bırak çık yola, Ceng edeyip git ki Vatan kurtula, Böyle müessermi gaza her kula, Haydi oğul haydi uğurlar ola... Ey sürüden arkaya kalmış yiğit, Arkadaşın gitti yetiş, sen de git, Bak ne diyor Cedd-i Şehid'in işit, Haydi oğul haydi uğurlar ola...
I'm half-Greek and I am VERY fond of the Turkish culture, especially the music. This is a very enjoyable piece, although I would like to know a little more about it(if someone could tell me, it would me much appreciated). I hope someday all Greeks and Turks will stop their pointless hate and anger towards each other and be friendly towards each other, or else I fear for the two nations' futures. Turkish and Greek Peace Please!!! :)
Greeks & Turks have always lived in peace & harmony up until the early 21st century. It was only when the nationalistic virtues which I think are bad were forced upon people that nations started disliking one another.
I live in Australia & am of Turkish descent but have countless close Greek friends.
If you remember under the Ottoman Empire both our peoples lived in unison & had no issues with eachother.
Check out my page & I have heaps of these videos there as I'm in the Australian Mehter Band
@iroh2 the march they are playing is called "Ceddin deden Neslin Baban" and is known to be the first military march in the world. the guys palying it is called "Mehter" they we're a band used in battle behind the ottoman soldiers to play military marches to give morale to the soldiers fighting the enemy and scare the enemy.
güzel söyleyememişler, melodisi aslına uygun değil "kahret vatan düşmanını" kısmı
