GoW 3 had its fun moment or two but in all it was probably the worst Gears yet.

Dead Space 2 was fucking intense but not as good as Dead Space.

Dead Island was great

Ass Creed Revelations was a good sequel but not exactly original. Ezio came to life more.

Call of Juarez: The Cartel was a joke.

Duke Nukem Forever was the first Duke game I'd played since the PSX titles so it was great.

Crysis 2 blew me away.

That's it Skyrim does make Saints Row 3 look like shit but it also makes other games before it right back to Oblivion look shit.

Skyrim is friggin HUGE, putting these 2x DVD games to shame.

It took me 180+ hours to clock all except collecting all the Words..

However, as a game.. the Thieves Guild is the exact same design as the older Thief games on PC, and it played much like Ass Creed and Oblivion.

So my GAME of the year would have to be "NOT" Skyrim but Deus Ex: HR

The Coca Cola marketing guys that came up with Santa did base their character on the Dutch version of Saint Nicholas called Sinterklaas. So in a way they are the same guy but nothing to do with christmas.

Presents don't belong to christmas either, they're part of the Saint Nicholas celebrations. The christmas tree originates from the scandinavian feast celebrating the shortest day in the year and the lengthening of days. So the date is correct, but nothing to do with christmas again.
