So, has your nail grown back? I am losing my thumbanail. It is gross, but still black and pink/white near the tip. I can't do what you are doing, not yet anyway.
don't tear it off too soon just to be safe (i think this guy is doing it too soon). i couldn't resist and ended up messing up my nail for awhile. only the middle of my finger was black, while the sides were unaffected. i ended up ripping the middle of my fingernail off, leaving two strips of nail on both sides. i had to deal with those later haha.
i think i just barfed a little in my mouth...

I did that once by dropping an anchor on my finger. Ouch. Just rip it off already! :)
