If you don't even know why you want a certain job, then that automatically makes you unqualified for it. Because you don't know what the job is about and what you would do with that job.
Thanks to the third World invasion of America because of immigration standards being eliminated by Edward Kennedy the U.S. is now experiencing higher crime, more race mixed marriages and procreation and western culture and society being replaced alien foreign cultures and religions. The Democrats always seem to be doing things that are anti-White in one way or the other. I am sure glad the three Kennedy Brothers are not around anymore but the damage is done.
i don't get why Ted Kennedy is so bad. I mean, I don't necessarily agree with his politics but it seems so low of people to deride this man, especially after he passed away and guys like Breitbart were still slinging obscenities at his life

WARNING: If you want to see and hear the actual Mudd/Kennedy interview from start to finish, you need to look elsewhere on youtube or online. This is not it. They interview a handful of non-entities and no-longer-entities about the Kennedy interview -- which many of us have never seen in all it's legendary badness -- but this fails to deliver on that simple promise. One star of five stars. A load.
Ted didn't want to be President. He ran because he thought he had to, and because his family expected him to. That's the way he was raised. I think the truth is that this man was scared to death of being assassinated if he became President. And who could blame him? Had he won the nomination someone probably WOULD have killed him - or at least would have taken a shot. The man wasn't interested in this cursed job. He liked his life too much. But he didn't have a choice.
public speaking is not at all superficial. in fact, as President Communication skills is likely the second most important skill, next to decision making skills.
No but seriously, I would prefer a system where the president was the one who wrote his/her speeches, made the decisions etc. and not some team of advisors as it is now. It's almost like the president doesn't matter anymore or is just a pretty face giving speeches.
kennedy decided to live in his own reality, which his father taught his sons to do...democrats usually can't tell you a policy from a termite, pretends that ted did anything more than further immoral values upon this country...
i think the real reason he wanted the presidents bid was to re investigate his brothers death's which i believe is very suspicious, i can truly understand his intentions god bless you ted.
i think the real reason he wanted the presidents bid was to re investigate his brothers death's which i believe is very suspicious, i can truly understand his intentions god bless you ted.

@chrissen1 yah right, he had just said it, so he couldn't think of what to say the 2nd time?
Sounds like Kennedy fanatic spin. "No, really there's a little known tape where he's brilliant"
Ted Kennedy was the George W. Bush of the Democrats, because he was a Democrat he just wasn't portrayed as the clown he should have been. Many other humorous rambles of his available out there.
Why did Ted Kennedy want to be President? Because he was a Kennedy, and they think they are entitled to the office by divine right! He expected that it would be handed to him, and that all the "lesser people" would bow in admiration.
If Bush lied, then so did Bill Clinton, Hillary Clinton, John Kerry, Joe Biden and the cast of Democrats who agreed Hussein was harboring WMD. He had them. We know he had them because he USED them on his own people. Why weren't they there when we finally invaded? Because he moved them to the Bekaa Valley in Syria during the 14 months we wasted playing footsie with the U.N.
@swami1 Okay, I stand corrected. Stephen Hadley never told the vice president of Lockheed-Martin to help him come up with a rational for the invasion because they'd already decided to do it and didn't have a good enough reason to "sell" to the public. George Tenet was never told to "find" evidence of WMDs because they'd already decided to invade and needed to "sell" it to the public. Sure, all that never happened. You ARE right about one thing. I exaggerated. It was probably only about 150,000.
sarah palin comes on katie couric and babbles like an idiot and the right-wingnuts gravitate towards her. ted rambles a little and the liberals become leery of him. clearly the liberals take things more seriously and hold their candidates to higher standards. for the republicans anyone who supports gun-control, talks jesus and has white skin is a sparkling candidate for the highest office in the country.
@TheJoec2005 lol funny boy... to compare the harvard-educated Lion of the Senate, to a c-grade schooled one-hit-wonder former beauty contestant from a nondescript state ... is bad comedy.
@xtrmsprts let me get that straight so because he's harvard educated and a kennedy and she went to the university of idaho, did some pagents here and there means she's a nobody, do you forget the fact that in almost 50 years as a senator teddy wasted millions of taxpayer money and will be remembered as one f the most corrupt politicians ever but it's okay because he's harvard educated
@TheJoec2005 you didn't get it straight at all. he was known as the lion of the senate for his character, majestic presence and sound humane policies.I don't recall him wasting a penny of taxes. Now good education is very important.Deny that?We don't want illiterates to preside over hallowed offices. As for sarah, she went to a half-dozen low-caliber schools.she'd just quit one place after the next, like she quit governorship, she's an uncommitted citizen.
tragic that kennedy choose that year to be incompetent, bobby would have grabbed the democratic party by its reins and directed it into victory. later of course, ted proved himself an able and worthy lion amassing a career that just by its length superseded bobby's stay in politics. if only a stimulated kennedy had run that year we'd be saved from that b-grade forgetful hollywood actor and simple-minded right-wing extremist reagan
Teddy addressed this in his book "True Compass". I now see now why Teddy wasn't focused. It is clear in this video he did not want to announce on Mudd's show. I think Mudd was a bit of a rat for pushing for another segment beyond what was agreed upon.
You may not believe this but I'm related to Roger Mudd! He is related to my Great Aunt Hester who at this time is fadeing away from plant earth and on a mission (home) heaven! All I can say is FAMILY!!!
I can't help but see the comedy in everyone blaming Roger Mudd for simply asking a U.S. Senator a few serious questions. You could see EMK didn't like the question about Chappaquiddick. Did EMK really think no one would ever ask about that again??? Total arrogance.
not liking a question doesn't mean he didn't think they would ask nor does it mean he was being arrogant, it just simply means that he didn't like the question.
If you were in Kennedy's shoes, I doubt you would want to be asked that question either.
EMK was always handled with kid-gloves. He had below-average intelligence, so he had to have "his people" organize and orchestrate his life. The man was a disgrace. Read the book: "Senatorial Privilege" by Leo Damore. (I did many years ago). He was coddled, pampered, and handled with kid gloves his whole life, and it still continues after his death. Rest in Peace, Mary Jo!
It is funny reading the comments of you right wing characters. Do we forget so soon that your icon, not the "brilliant" Reagan but good ol' boy George W., was a heavy drinker/partyer and his wife the saintly Laura killed someone in a car accident. Granted Ted Kennedy seemingly was trying to cover-up or sober up who knows exactly what was going through his mind at that time. Let's face it he had his share of life tradgedies as well as blessings. However, unlike your heros he reedeemed himself.
REDEEMED himself? LOL! He was ALWAYS a drunk and a womanizer. He was "forgiven" by his party and others. He had nothing to do with "redeeming" himself, just like his pal "Bubba " Clinton.
What I meant by redemption was all the positive legislation Senator Edward Moore Kennedy passed. For example: The ADA, FMLA, and Cobra you know things that the the less fortunate among us and the middle-class benefit from. What did George W. and most of his Republican cronies do for the middle-class raise there taxes and give wealthy corporate elitists tax breaks. Please enlighten me.
Yep A fucking drunk. lots of times. I do landscaping here in Tucson AZ. One of my Client / Customer Would have (Teddy) over to her home about every 2-3 Years for about 2 weeks. Yes i have Seen this man Drunk off his ass!. No Shit!
He should have answered like Pat Robertson (played by Al Franken) on SNL. "Well, I've been a babysitter, I've mowed lawns, I've been a caddy ..." Seriously, I doubt Teddy ever mowed lawns or was a caddy. Maybe he could say, "I tried to be a chauffeur once and I drove the car into a lake".
Both believe women and minorities are inferior, and do not deserve equal treatment. And yes, Clarence Thomas is a minority himself, but that has not affected his views at all.
Yes, he's ashamed of his blackness, and his dark skin tone. He'd love to be white. Go look into it, asshole. You don't just sound stupid. You ARE stupid.
This does not show his complete non-answer. It also doesn't show the following two questions posed by Mudd; "What do you think would make you a better President than Carter?" and "What leadership abilities/qualities do you have that give you an advantage over Carter?".
I heard the entire exchange on the radio yesterday and it was pretty obvious that Mudd was trying to feed Teddy a question that he could answer.
I have comments from Caroline Kennedy,"Uhhh, well you know, Uncle Teddy, you know, welll uhhhh. Then again Uncle Teddy was well you know, love and uhhhhh welll he uh you know. Then again uhhhhh you know he was a great uh well whats the work uhhhhhh you know Senator." I hope the devil is giving Teddy a good colon cleanse about now. Ted say hello to the other murderers in Hell.
It's clear that the media desperately wanted to draw attention to Teddy's borrowed glory as much in 1970 as they do today.
Yet, unlike today, Roger Mudd asks the tough questions he knew most of that program's viewers will be wondering about: Chappaquiddick.
Today, whatever equivalent we have to Mudd insults everyone's intelligence by pretending that these kinds of things (if the interview subject is a left-wing Democrat) didn't happen or that it's somehow out of bounds to bring up.
And I would have thought he would have had a pat answer for that. Roger Mudd even apologized. He thought he was tossing him a softball. His drunken melon must have translated the question into " Why did you drive Mary Jo into the Chappaquiddick"
The SOB is dead. Should have died 40 years ago instead of Mary Jo. 47 years of Senatorial Hell foisted upon us by the state of Massachusetts and his bootlegger father.
