When I was about twelve, and singing in children's choir, I was so amazingly blessed to be able to attend a workshop led by Sir David Willcocks. I'm now 35, and that's still one of the best memories I carry. What a gifted man. Thank you for the beautiful music.

I wish shopping malls, radio and television stations would play THIS music during CHRISTmas, and not the rot that we get bombarded with all the time during this holy time. All the mindless "jingle bells" and "wish you a merry christmas", consumer-driven drivel that the world keeps lapping up should be bannished in my opinion. If people can't handle good music, celebrating what christmas is really about, then too bad for them - don't bother keeping the tradition !

Yes that would be lovely but the music they play comes in the form of long playing disk purchased from a company that does that type of thing as painful as it all is.Much like lift music.

The KCC always moved me from when I was a child. The quality of their music has never seemed to drop which also another feat... of course it must've ebbed and flowed but to my ear they have all been wonderful. Thank you for posting this and for turning your Father's good taste into a tradition. The world needs more people like him.

My parents played the KCC Christmas album every year while I was growing up, so whenever I hear this, I am transported back to the Christmases of my childhood. I couldn't have Christmas without it. My Dad passed away just a couple of days after Christmas 5 years ago, and I have only just been able to start listening to it again. I was lucky enough to go to Kings College in June and see the famous choir stalls. It was impressive and very moving.

Beautiful Singing!! Reminds me of Christmases past! I have loved KCC since I was a kid in Africa when my dad would play their records every Christmas season. He took the entire family to watch them perform at the Cathedral Church in Freetown, Sierra Leone many years ago. Little did he know he was leaving a lasting legacy. He is now gone and I wish he was here now to see that I have continued the tradition with my own kids. Thanks for posting, Treblechoir99!

KCC epitomises Christmas for me. It brings me back to the sweet place where I remember Christmas' past... and my Dad, who tuned into the BCC every Christmas Eve to listen to the service, now long since gone. God bless us all, everyone.

Beautiful! Our church had their service of Lessons and Carols a few days ago. It began with Once in Royal David's City. I had tears listening to the soloist. And I do now listening to this video. I love the King's College Choir since I can remember. I sang in a choir in High School, so I can appreciate these heavenly voices! They sound like angels to me and they really make Christmas feel the way it's supposed to feel, to me!
