@rbodinnar Many thanks for that. Very helpful. Also, what would you recommend for a Gliga Gama (pro) with a larger than usual lower bout (Guarnerius it's called).
@thetarafae The pro model is usually a bit brighter and
louder than the Gliga I, but the Guarneri model tends to be deeper, and more mellow than the usual Stradivarius models. I think I'd go the same brighter sounding strings.
he is a good violin seller. Most violin sellers don't even know how to play a violin. they only base the price range of a violin on if the maker has any fame, and if the item has been sold before. once, i bought a bow, and then i returned it a couple days later because i didnt like it, and the marketer took off the 200 dollar price tag and put it at 400. he raised it because someone once thought it was ok.
Good question...The violins are random representatives, however every violin is made with different wood and therefore has it's own unique sound. I would say that these violins are a good representation of the 'average' Gliga and Paesold once setup in our shop. -Rich-
I absolutely love that Gliga 1.
At how many Hz you fine tuned the Strings ?
Will you allow me to download your video on my iPad ?
Beautiful sounds indeed !
Cheers from Mauritius.

Very beautiful indeed that Gliga 1 !
Is it the Stradivari Model or the Guarneri Model ?
Cheers from Mauritius.

@Judexy22
Thanx for the question. It is the Stradivari model. I don't often get the
Guarneri, as Gliga seem to do the Strad a lot better.

Hi;
Do you still sell the Gliga that you played here? Do you start with a Gems 1 elite?

@madogblue
Thanx for the question.
Yes we still sell this Gliga I. The Gliga I and Struna Concert are our
two most popular violins in this price range.
Our starting model of Gliga is Gliga III, which is equivalent to
a Genial I, but with over $200 of better parts/setup. -Rich-

Which strings do you recommend for the Gliga 1

@thetarafae
Thanx for the question
Hi! The Gliga 1 is a very mellow sounding instrument, so I like to use brighter sounding strings
so that the sound doesn't disappear. I usually use Pirastro Tonicas, Evah Pirazzis , Dominant or vision.

He refers to Gliga 1, 2 and 3, but I know them in England as Genial, Gems, Gama and Maestro 1 & 2.
Which model is this? As it really does sound nice.

Thanx for the question. Gliga I has the same body as Gems 1, but has been 'hotted up' with high quality parts. -Rich-

The lingual virus "sort of" has struck again. Take two "sort of " aspirins" and "sort of" hope the sort of fever breaks.

Good to see the linguistic police are on patrol :)
