What's up ! I'm a 22 year old rapper from Canada and I just uploaded my first 2 tracks ever. I'm not the typical fag ass rapper that's only talking about swag, cash and bullshit like that. In fact, I usually talk about everyday life because I'm a normal dude like you. I ain't begging you to come check out my channel, just do if you want. Thanks.
I really wish all these kids today knew that they are getting robbed of lyricism in hiphop music. Rappers in the 90's needed to have REAL talent and substance before they got signed not any old motherfucker could rap. Method Man said it best: "Today's hiphop is all about ABC 1 2 3" it's so fucking true I love the 90's I miss you so MUCH!
@lisaray101 Just for supporting that ill 90's rap, I'll give you the link to the official "Welcome to Queensbridge Houses" T-Shirt Limited Edition joints. Made in NYC, dun. Go to ecrater dot com and type in "Queensbridge Shirt".

so i heard the instrumental to this song before i heard nas in it. and i was like oh ima make a song to this.. then i heard nas.. and now i wanna quit. lol.
in my opinion one of hip hop finest achievements is this song. everything about this song illustrates what hip hop should be about. beautiful, insightful lyricism coupled with one of the most peaceful and soulful beats to ever be fabricated. god i wish they still made hip hop this masterful. may this song forever grace the ears of eager listeners.

honestly, ive listened to tons of music, from the beatles to marvin gaye to bob marley to the hip-hop of the likes of rakim and krs one and i can conclude that this song is one of the greatest ever to be devised by man. It is so inspirational, its message can go to anyone, regardless of background, that you can do whatever you set your mind to. The production and lyrics are undeniably perfect, this is timeless music. Thank you Nas and Pete Rock, for this masterpiece.
I was born in '97, but I'm one of the few 14-year-olds that can know / tell the difference between processed bullshit "hip hop" and hard, true rap. And I do NOT wanna "claim" the 2010s. Fuckin' shit is all there is, man... R.I.P. real rap, 1980s - '06
@SasquatchLegend Rap's Golden Era is defined as either 92-97 or 93-96. Arguably of course. My little brother was born in 98 and he listens to Nas aswell, its good to see young dunnies like you and my bro keepin' it real amongst all the garbage out there.
@SasquatchLegend That's all well and good but it seems your immature mind can't handle it. You don't need to cuss like rappers to get your point across.
@venturawrestling1 I shouldn't say '06, but I used to be a huge Eminem fan, and, well, '06 was a good year for his output in songs. Also, in '07, Lil' Wayne took over, and that's when hip-hop nearly entirely replaced rap... thank God for the underground rap scene.
@rapidpossumsex Well I don't think hip hop is dead it's more in a coma. Some rappers r still good. Nas, Ludacris, Eminem, Busta Rhymes, common jadakiss. Even jay z and konye west r ok.
@SasquatchLegend age doesnt really matter when it comes to music, just means that ur a not a dumb mother fucker that listens to what he/she is told to listen to which is good, im 14 too but like i said it doesnt matter ;) im 14 and i listen to this music btw guys makes me better than u guys lol kpce
@rapidpossumsex It's simply a comparison to other teens of my generation, of how they are all into this mainstream, processed, repetitive bullshit. And yeah, I know, but '06 was the last year I enjoyed the rap songs of that year. After that, Lil' Wayne gained extreme mainstream success, and then that spawned a whole bunch of talentless, washed-up black guys.
@SasquatchLegend Good job, man. We really need more 14 year olds like you. My brother is also 14 years old and he also listens to this real music. Props to kids like you, and let's keep enjoying this real music!
IM ABOUT TO DROP ''THE GREATEST MIXTAPE OFALL-TIME'' ON 2/22/12.IT WILL BE ULTIMATE GIUDE TO LYRICAL SUPREMACY. NO GIMMICK'S NO BULLSHIT NO MONEY TALK PLEASE SUB TO MY PAGE NOW OR SEARCH:AKEEM-UNDERSTANDING
i am not trying to claim the 90s but i was born in 97 and i love 90s rap. i hate all this new gay rap, and i fucking hate lil wayne and his minion drake. i wish i was alive to see rap in 90s
You say Hannah Montana-i fucking punch you in the face
92% of teenagers have turned to New school and Pop.If you are part of the 8% that still listen to real music, copy and paste this message to another video. Don't let the real rap die!!
I can't listen to Drake after this and call him an MC. A pop star? Sure. MC? FUCK no. Nas all day!!! REAL hip hop!

@SasquatchLegend why do people need to constantly talk about how old they are? you think anyone is impressed by how enlightened you claim to be?
"Im only 14 and i hate justin beiber!" BTW rap died well before '06 einstein
rapidpossumsex 1 month ago
@rapidpossumsex It's simply a comparison to other teens of my generation, of how they are all into this mainstream, processed, repetitive bullshit. And yeah, I know, but '06 was the last year I enjoyed the rap songs of that year. After that, Lil' Wayne gained extreme mainstream success, and then that spawned a whole bunch of talentless, washed-up black guys.
