  • WOW.this vid is jut soo beautiful!

definatly the best windsurfigvid ive ever seen! :) :)

i almost fee the wind in my hands :D

and th music is nice also

so rhis vid is just: PERFECT <3

  • yawn... boring

    and where is the crash?

your real speed is 48.28 km/h

    (Garmin site)

  • Thanks for all the editing at the start -_-

  • Great video. I started windsurfing a year because of this video and haven't regretted it one second.

  • @kennW83 Nice to hear that, thx :) I wish you all the best and a lot of fun with windsurfing

  • Beautiful blue colors.

You shouldn't call it a crash...

  • Beautiful. I could almost feel the ocean wind in my face.

  • Nice vid! I saw that you use a Garmin Forerunner 205. I have a 305 and I use it only for biking. I would like to use it for windsurfing too, but is it water resistant? Enough for windsurfing???

  • whz only surf forward make race speed slam duke or air jibe but only surf forward is boring to watch sry

  • Awsome video!!! I love the place, ur equipment and the conditions!<3 Is it expensive? Oo

  • did you fix the gopro on a helmet or did you use the headstrap?? if you used the headstrap? is it stable or do you easily loose the cam? ...its because i want to use it for waveriding.

  • @aurel821993 I used a helmet, but have experience also with a headstrap. The headstrap is very stable. But just to be really sure that I would not loose my camera in any case, I fastened the headstrap with a wide and loose rope on my neck (I made it on a safe way so that I would not be strangled in case of an accident).

  • @aurel821993 I almost lost my cam even tho I attatched it with a rope to my neck xD, check my channel for that footage, I got pretty lucky finding it back with my foot ^^

  • Also nice beach start

  • Is the helmet cam worth buying? I'm a windsurfer too

  • @mattxbernal Yes, of course, I am really satisfied with it and use it also for mtb, diving and skiing filming.

  • aaah friendly greek waters! Thanks for the vid

  • the song suuuuuuuuuuucks

  • the first part is very boring! jump to 2:12!!!

  • hey i think that you've jump out the board hahaha

  • Frühgleiter typisch

  • Great surfing! ^_^ that was speedy !

  • how shallow was the reef??

  • @megaWii123 It was not a real reef, it was a small island of the size of a rock looking out of the water

  • @matjazYT how did you unclip your harness and jump so quick and also wat song is this

  • i like the water here un hvide sande wee have green water :)

  • is it hard to windsurf i really want to buy one and learn! love all sea sports but tis one is AMASING!

  • cool video...It looks like thats the HD gro pro set at 4:3?

  • It looks fun, but is it worth the ... 2,000 dollars? Im just woundering, cause i want to buy it, but not sure its worth it.

  • etsi re man!!

  • Dude, maybe you should crop it a bit i got kinda bored till the crash :) cool vid though

  • Sorry, but I have a doubt about your speed. As I can see on the sea, does not seem very windy (only some "sheeps"). Of course you had 6.2m2 sail, but you don't look like overpowered. I checked your GPS data, and the speed maxi was 29.7mph/47.8kmh which is pretty good, but at what time did you fall ?

  • The maximum speed during this ride was 50.181 km/h. The gps data on the internet contains some averaging process on a probably reduced set of data. As I explained in the video info, it was very windy in the Devil's Bay, and I got overpowered towards the crash.

  • Due to the 170 angle camera view, the impression about the waves height is not correct (the lenght of the board was about 250 cm, but it looks very small) and the sheeps visible in the video were probably quite big sheeps. Take also into account the offshore direction of the wind.

  • I crashed when I was farest from the starting point in the gps data plot, that is at the starting location of the straight line perpendicular to the surfing direction (it took me some time to catch the board and I made a short rest during which I was drifted by the wind). According to the internet gps data my velocity before the crash was 47.8 km/h.

  • I would need to check the raw data for more reliable information. In the video title I did not want to go into details, so I rounded the velocity to 50 km/h.

  • Love this video, reminds me how fun it is to just cruse flat water for miles \.../

  • great video!how big is the sail??great board..

  • thanks, 6.2 m2

  • I don't care about trick boards. ALL I care about is this! Awesome job and video! So how much would such a setup cost me?

  • Thx, about 1500 EUR

  • noro dobr!! =]

  • One day I wish to do that. Awesome board by the way.

  • I love it! Great video and music. I like the speed too. Nice job.

  • Nice clip you provided with my music :-)

    Luc Poublon

  • I like your music very much and a number of people already praised the music of this clip. Congratulations and hopefully you will compose still more such amazing songs

  • Yeah! Luc! Your amazing!! ;)

I just needed to tell you about Matjaz his video! ;)

  • Still don't see why you let yourself crash?

    I don't see a reef.

    Such a nice video though!

    Really loved it.

Got me into the feeling on being on that board! =)

  • I saw suddenly a small island some tens of meters infront of me, which probably did not look more than 1 m out of the water. Since I was the first time there and did not know if there are maybe more such rocks looking out of the water in my vicinity, I decided to jump in the water, what probably was not the wisest decision

  • haha well was a nice crash though!! Added your video on my website! =)

    xoxo Chantal

  • there is no reef on karpathos in the middle of the sea!

  • There is a very small island infront of the bigger island I was surfing towards (follow GPS data link in video description), I called it reef

  • ....is an helmet cam?

  • Yes, it was filmed with the GoPro Hero 5M helmet camera

  • Why do you use your watch on your right hand...

  • On the left arm there was already the GPS and I did not want to have both on the same arm

  • @lscdmg for god sake man! maybe he is left handed!!!!! :p

  • @chloefrou Indeed I am :)

  • Nice vid!! try some multi-angles... Karpathos looks great!!

  • hey m8 what song is used in this vid

  • The song is Gerontion (Extended Mix) from the album Vocal Trance Club Hits Vol. 2 by Luc Poublon

  • @dzoni2k2 I think he said it was his own song.. yeah its sick lol
