But Prosthetic Head was released 3 years before Main Offender and I'm pretty sure if Green Day was ripping off anyone they knew, it was themselves. Awesome song. It is live, without a doubt. However, I've seen it with MTV before... they tend to "clean up" or slightly edit live performances to make them sound better. Green Day doesn't need it... they never have, but it's possible MTV may have edited the sound slightly. I'm giving the guy a little bit of credit, but at the same time, they definitely did NOT go over it with the actual song.

It is live you complete wanker! However you are patrially right. There is something called post production, where a sound engineer will go in and "clean up" the tracks. Thats what they done in the Bullet in a Bible DVD, as well as any other band that releases a DVD or plays on recorded TV
