  • lol I know that girl! Hi Shannon! *wave*

  • Wtf? is it a University or a fucking College?

    Make up your mind.

  • When I am out of the Marine Corps I am moving back to PDX and going to PSU!!

  • Urban Studies kicks ass

  • Say community a few more times..such an overused generic term..tree huggers are hypocrites & super phony..

  • let me clear some things up for all of you. Im a freshman at PSU, 19 years old, i live on campus and have a lively social life. My dorm houses 1200+ kids, mostly 18-21, and we have another dorm of about half that size a block away. Its true that PSU has historically been an older age commuter school but its changing into a more stereotypical campus with younger students and more lively sports programs. I went to a frat party on saturday here, so don't believe the lies that we don't party. GOVIKS

  • Hahaha! I love you Shannon!

  • ammm, ammm , ammmm

  • for those of you are watch, not very much of you, she is cute but not typical of PSU student, PSU students are known for to be older and mostly part-time, there are exception to anything so don't yell at me. also PSU is a horrible school. administration is stupid, they don't listen to students, and parking is horrible. with that said, the business school is very famous, but everything else is shit

  • aww man...the school really does suck? I really liked the school so far, especially because it is in Portland. I don't know if you're well educated on colleges, but are there any colleges that are good in your opinion in that area?

  • well, i don't know, PSU and PCC are not typical at all, they market to non-traditional students, lilke those that work full time, single parents, returning students, etc. but PCC better they are nicer. so you would probably want to go to Portland Community College and transfer to UO or OSU because they are more well-known nationally. but if you are in business, you will want PSU because the school is better rated

  • livestn doesn't know what he's talking about. The renown opera program at PSU is absolutely amazing, a boast no other Oregon school can make. Base your comments on more than what you hear from the other 16 year-olds during your break time between 2nd and 3rd period young man.

  • you just got bad grades lolol. PCC is not four year university so you can't compare an administration that has a small number of students with school that has 10 times more students.

  • Well I can tell you the Anthropology Program is one of the best in the North West and. If you want party this is not the school for you. If you want to feel that your parents money was used to party every weekend and have poor education go to OSU or UO for some programs. The average at PSU is 27 people who really want an education since they have a better understanding of the real world.

  • omg i know, i saw that on their website. my soulmate that i met about a year ago just graduated from highschool cuz he's a senior and he lives in portland and is planning on going there after he takes a year off and possibly goes to pcc for a little bit, and so im moving there in a year and doing my senior year of highschool, and then i want to go to psu so badly, because i've wanted to be an archaeologist since i was ten, and omg their anthrapology program excites me so much. i can't wait!!!

  • Except the School Newspaper, the Radio Station (KPSU!), and of course the German dept...PSU is way cooler than any big name Football school. I coulda gone to UO or OSU but who wants to live in the sticks with a bunch of hippies and rednecks?

  • @livestn Does this school really suck? I would be a junior transfer student from MN so I don't really know much about the Portland area. I have to choose between PSU and the Oregon State University in Eugene-which in your opinion would be a better choice?

  • @cashyaug PSU is the most underfunded of the big-3 U's in Oregon even though it's by far the fastest growing, most diverse, and largest in the state. UO-Eugene is the most prestigious, OSU-Corvallis is the 'aggie' school for tech/sciences/forestry. As a transfer, you'll appreciate PSU & city life more. UO & OSU are more groupie because most met each other as freshman. The popular kids in high school go to UO, the science nerds go to OSU, the smokers & rest of the real world go to PSU. haha

  • @cyrusk2 this was actually quite insightful. thanks dude
