@DreadNawght In assassin's creed they removed all the badass hidden blade counters when you get the extra 1, and get 4 shitty ones instead... You get them in Brotherhood, but te 4 shitty ones play more often x.x

In assassin's creed, the motion capture dude was keen on killing the other person, resulting in less complicated, but more badass animations

In assassin's creed 2, he tried to look like a badass, but succeeded in complicated, exhaggerated animations.

You can't really attack them with the hidden blade in the first Assassins Creed, you could only counter them.

@PA69sodmg And don´t forget German ;D ... That´s ´cause the normal crusaders speak in their own languages, wich are English, French and German... Apparently their nationality is also an indicator of their level: low level guards (no helmet) usually speak English, when intermediate guards (with helmets) show up you start to hear French and when high level guards (full-face helmets) join in you hear German.

@chickenthug0 - May I remind you that in AC1, that unless if you use the Shock & Awe technique (aka, waiting for the guards to either taunt you or look away in horror), you can't actually attack with the hidden blade in open combat? You're thinking of AC2 or AC:B.

To make you understand, standing around and countering is mostly all he can do - he's using the hidden blade, not the Sword or Short Blade.

... Now as for AC2 and AC:B, that's a different story.

Yeah, that how the pros fights. assasins creed 1 stile only hidden blade. In brother hood you can even block what that thing and attack and to make it even bether. when you killed someone whit it you instand killed the next gaurds my god its becoing so easy. Luckly they added those assasins recruits who could do the easy work for you.

Nice, I'll have to give the Hidden Blade more action in multi-guard battles...I tend to favour the Short Blade/Throwing Knife.

I do love the "Who Did This?" comments from the guards though - "Hmm, could it be that shady looking assassin over there?! Even rescued citizens say it after you've helped them sometimes. "Thankyou, a minute longer and those guards would've made off with me. I will see you are rewarded.....who did this?"

if the guards were smart, they would all attack altair or ezio at the same time, like scottybugu2b said. then, fights would actually be a challenge, forcing you to react quickly and switch between attackers. they could add a slow motion feature that can be activated for short periods of time, allowing you to react to multiple attackers coming at you at once and allowing you to fend them off more effectively.
