you truly don't get it. that's not what TRUE conservatism is about. TRUE conservatism is about less government. it's not about god's word, or "marriage", or any of that other crap. in government, we need people who are socially open but fiscally conservative, not social conservatism and not fiscal liberalism. what we really need is a combination of both.
True conservatism is about limiited government not trumping the values of the American people. Fiscal and social conservatism are inextricable intertwined. I am not saying that means you have to agree socially to be a conservative, but that those who do have to be allowed that freedom. It is the dimished role of family in society that gives rise to expanded gov and expanded gov that contibutes to the diminishing of the rold of family.

So first of all, he was daydreaming through the National Anthem, then before the anthem has even finished, he turns to Peg Luksik and starts going on about who the flag is waving for. Honestly! Where's the respect?!
He was standing backstage with Luksik for at least 30 minutes, Muckymuck. There is nothing that Keyes said that suggests that he was speaking to her DURING the National Anthem.
Keyes said to Luksik that it's very significant that "Oh say does that star-spangled banner yet wave?" was phrased as a question.
Did your mind ever drift in a thought of some sort or get inspired to think an idea during the National Anthem? I'm sure everyone in America would have to admit to that if they're honest.

Dr. Keyes is one of the most logical Christian people today. He embodies patriotism and the true nature of the US Constitution. I see him as a man of God not a "Black" person. He would be the best president, yet we did not write him in. Most all recent presidents have really been controlled by the big bankers/power brokers who seek to enslave/control all of us financially, socially and spiritually. TRUE conservatism is about less government. it's not about god's word, or "marriage", or any of that other crap. in government, we need people who are socially open but fiscally conservative, not social conservatism and not fiscal liberalism. what we really need is a combination of both.

True conservatism is about limiited government not trumping the values of the American people. Fiscal and social conservatism are inextricable intertwined. I am not saying that means you have to agree socially to be a conservative, but that those who do have to be allowed that freedom. It is the dimished role of family in society that gives rise to expanded gov and expanded gov that contibutes to the diminishing of the rold of family.

I am still in awe that this man is not the true first black president of this country. But perhaps his brilliance and gallantry are too great for this generation of Americans.

He was standing backstage with Luksik for at least 30 minutes, Muckymuck. There is nothing that Keyes said that suggests that he was speaking to her DURING the National Anthem.
Keyes said to Luksik that it's very significant that "Oh say does that star-spangled banner yet wave?" was phrased as a question.
Did your mind ever drift in a thought of some sort or get inspired to think an idea during the National Anthem? I'm sure everyone in America would have to admit to that if they're honest.

Dr. Keyes fears that now that these Left-Wing folks are in 100% Control of the American Government, they are unlikely to allow an election to end that control over which they've been salivating for decades.
I hope Keyes is wrong about that, because that would be damn scary & the outcome would likely be Left-Wing Tyranny or a terrible Civil War.
