You can install on the roof of a moble home if it is conventional wood and asphalt shingle just like a tv satellite dish, just not metal roofs.

I asked the FCC whether an internet satellite dish could be installed on a mobile home and they said it could. They also told me they do not require it to be installed by a professional. I emailed them.
