Previously when I went on an Insomnium music video the last comment would have been written over a week ago.

Now you see "1 day ago" and even "today" a lot more frequently. It goes to show that Insomnium are beginning to get more and more recognition by the day. And it's definately well-deserved. They are pioneers of a beautiful new wave of melodic metal. One of the best bands around today. \m/ Raise your horns in tribute to these awesome legends.

The biggest question of all, is how 4 guys can create such an astonishing band with incredible lyrics, amazing sound and just breathtaking melodies. I look forward to one day write songs as good and well-made as Insomnium! :)

@SliceOfDog I actually love them... When i first listened to metal I hated screams/growls. But then I discovered Scar Symmetry with Cristian Älvestam, which is without any doubt the best clean singer in the world. After a while I got used to his growls and had no problems to listen to songs without any cleans.

The best thing about growling is that it isn't melodic so it is much easier to listen to the guitars. Imagine this song with clean vocals. The guitar melodies would be ruined.
