  • "You boys busted out of jail?"

"Uh, no ma'am - we released ourselves on our own recognizance. We felt the institution no longer had anything to offer us."

  • John Goodman is a motorcycle.

  • And a negro Born with his heart on the outside...

  • I liked the part where he yelled.

  • ya gotta love William Forsythe

  • AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

  • John Goodman is a natural resource

  • damn! he stong

  • Isn't yelling right outside the prison a bad idea?..

  • @STUNTS1516 isnt questioning john goodman a WORSE idea?

  • the American Dad episode that parodies this is G - String Circus episode

  • It's like some epic mud-birth

  • WTF????

  • First saw this parodied on Blue Mountain State and then American Dad.

  • They rip on Apache Junction so perfectly in this movie!!! I remember tons of crazy people in AJ just like how they depict them in here haha. Great movie!!!!

  • There being born from the earth!

  • A perfect example of a Norn.

  • Context.

    I'd like some.

  • @DevoutPatriot They're two convicts who escaped from prison.

  • A totally underrated movie.

In many ways, its still my favorite that the Coen brothers have done. Though, all there stuff has been at least good to my tastes. =)

  • @gothdeer if you read information on R.A., you'll see that is a very highly rated movie, not a very popular one. 90% on RottenTomatoes, and upon it's release, critics like Peter Travers, Rogert Ebert, etc. gave it very high marks.

  • I always saw a connection with the Golem here. Except that they're not born from mud or clay, they just crawl out of a sewer pipe like in Shawshank Redemption XD

  • AMAZING!!!!

  • was yelling after being freed your best decision?

  • AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Haha--the second one was breech-baby.

  • Out of context, this is extremely confusing.

  • 1:05

  • Ha ha, is like those guys were being born.

  • That's one epic shit. Sounds a little painful...

  • I wrote a paper back in film school about how Gale and Evil are bascially giant babies, and this scene is basically a birth scene, hence all the crying (screaming). There's a lot of baby symbolism in this film.

  • @Heritage367 Hahah Yep it's totally a birth. Brilliant. I love the screaming in the car when they realize they left Nathan Jr. When John Goodman punches the dashboard I loose it... everytime!

  • I never seen the American dad one...where can I find it?

  • Man, I love this movie and John Goodman is always brilliant.

  • Best prison break scene ever! TURN TO THE RIGHT!

  • could not stop laughing when i saw this

  • this is so funny and i watched the american dad version which was hilarious but imagine if the prison guards heard this? lol

  • So primal. It's like child-birth!

  • why is he yelling? How does coming out from the ground make you yell like that? lmao. I laughed so hard seeing this.

  • classic epic rebel yell

  • 0:39 makes me wanna say "ohhhhh! yeah! ohhhhh! yeah!" like naughty by nature

  • the laugh this whole sequence, the entire time

  • I believe it's supposed to look like twins being born.

  • me to , CLASSIC!

  • EPIC!! i really want a circumstance to come up where i can scream like that.

  • Hahaha I love that American Dad just did this. I didn't get the reference so I googled it.... now I know.

  • @hillstblues987 And Knowing is Half the battle G.I. JOOOOEEEE!!!

    (da da da daaa!!!)

  • Heck I actually liked the american Dad version better than the original.

  • Just watched the american dad ep, I laughed and had to come here to see the original. you have to watch the movie Raising Arizona if you havent seen it.

  • @hillstblues987 when me and my g/f seen the American Dad, the milk came thru my nose and she didn't know why till I whipped out the Raising Arizona DVD

  • @hillstblues987 what's the name of the american dad episode that spoofed this clip?

  • @batteryaziz G-string circus is the episodes name

  • @hillstblues987 Dude... you really should have watched the whole film instead. You just cheated yourself out of properly experiencing one of the funniest scenes ever.

  • @hillstblues987 Had to Google it as well, after seeing it on Blue Mountain State as well.

Somehow, it actually reminds me of the Shawshank Redemption escape. Could it be a sort of parody of it? :-P

  • @hillstblues987 and blue mountain state =)

  • @hillstblues987 blue mountain state did it as well lol

  • American Dad JUST spoofed this. Hilarious :D

  • OH MY GOD. I could not stop laughing when I first saw this. It still gets me every time.

  • First time I saw this scene when I was a kid, it freaked me out for some reason. Now, it's just really funny.

  • I couldn't stop laughing so damn hard while watching them scream like hell on every scene!!!!! XD

  • I wonder if this scene inspired the jailbreak scene in The Shawshank Redemption?

  • This is fucking hysterical! I remeber seeing this scene for the first time: I laughed my ass off.

The scene were the police officer is asking the father what kind of pajamas Nathan Jr. was wearing, and the father replies: "I don't know, their his jammies. They got Yodas on them and shit." LMAO! Absolutely classic.

  • lol constant screaming

  • It may look like borning a babies, too, don't you think: both guys are messy, came out very hardly, screaming/crying :D

  • Out of context, it looks like nothing so much as a bad zombie film.

  • John Goodman has the greatest scream of all history.

  • is this scene some sort of big bro/lil' bro back-story where Goodman's born first and then "delivers" Forsythe, a one-handed breech delivery of course.

  • The greatest scene out of any movie ever. Period.

  • when i 1st saw this i never laughed so hard in my life

  • Best scene in the movie, followed closely but "son..you got a panty on yer head."

  • nooo i wanted to see the scene that got cut of!! darn

  • No doubt, John Goodman is one of the best screamers in Hollywood.

  • When my kids were young, they loved this movie and called it "Mud Men" Great birthing scene, born of the earth!

  • LMAO!

This would make a sexy entry for female

    combatants on Women's Professional Mud Wrestling! }:^}

  • Hahaha so freakin' funny.

  • It's like the earth gave birth or something.
