Attention: Overwhelming Colorfast reunion show @ Bottom Of The Hill in San Francisco on Saturday, February 25, 2012. They're one of many acts that will be involved in the Noise Pop Festival in the Bay Area. Hope to see you all there!!!
Got this CD in a dollar bargain bin going out of business sale. I was planning to listen and make fun of it, but it totally kicked ass. These guys are very unappreciated.
Bob's brother Dan was the drummer for this band - looks like he didn't make it to the shoot that day. I wonder who sat in for him ? Or was he just hiding ? Bob is still out there making great music...Well, maybe not tonight, but often. The video is much better if you close your eyes.
@saharalee Looks like Dan in the few split seconds you can actually see him. I think it's a matter of bad directing or editing. Dan's still making music too!
Another interesting fact is i bought thier first cd frused from a bookstore that sells new and used books, cd's etc... and i didn't even know who they were all i knew is i thought the album cover look really cool and interesting and that what made me wanna get it. I miss when you bought a record not just for how good the music was but also for the album art or sometimes only because of the album art when you didn't know the band.
These guys were acquaintances of mine back in the day. Before Colorfast formed, I played in a shortlived band with Torg and Steve. We got college credit for a class called "Rock Ensemble". I saw OC play about 10 amazing times. The last time I saw them (93), I was down in LA at college and Weezer opened for them. The wrong band got famous. My big memory of that time was that Nirvana was blowing up with similar (same producer!) but inferior material. I was heartbroken for Colorfast.
I bought this cd when it came out. To this day I regret selling it for gas money. Very good bad from Seattle durring the early years of the grunge movement.
I bought there first cd back when it was released....and its been one of my favorite underground alternative cd's...i think they shot their load on this cd because the ones that followed werent that good.

Their self-titled release is hands down one of my top 5 favorite CDs ever. Remarkably underrated performers, IMO.

what a great song from an extremely unknown and underrated band from one of the best albums of all time in my opinion. I LOVE It.
