  • According to fair use as long as they aren't making money bombergames should be allowed to keep this up for download. Or as long as they aren't slandering, which they aren't they're promoting.

  • If I hadn't found any of this music, I probably would have never know that there was a Streets of Rage remake. I listened to the whole soundtrack and immediately downloaded the game. It's fantastic, and since SoR probably won't ever get a proper remake or sequel, this has been the next best thing. Thanks for uploading the soundtrack and thank you, Bombergamers, for bringing back a part of my childhood.

  • And for the record If sega make a new SOR game - it would probably be third person with a combat system like Batman Akham Asylum or something. they wouldn't dare make a side scroller for the modern games market.

  • @v11cu96 That ain't necessarily a bad thing; Batman's combat system is nigh flawless and an excellent fit for new-gen SOR/FF.

    Ahhh, wishful thinking...

  • Sega churn out alot of kiddy mainstream crap now. They let most of their best franchises go to waste. Streets of Rage and Daytona, being just two examples of many. Such a shame.

  • That game its fukin awesome, grafics, music, everything in the game its wonderful, the only thing, i really want plus in this game, a FUKIN 4 PLAYERS MAYHEM, Bomber games rules....and for SEGA maybe the idea of the bulldozer in they H.Q its brilliant,

  • Sega need's to wake up! They have to remember about the other game's they made.

  • Plenty of people who started doing mods and fangames for Western games eventually got the attention of companies... and then got hired. Why don't Japanese developers do that more often?

  • @vaiyt Is Bomber Games American? These days, that's all that's required to get hired by Japanese game companies. :P

  • @gunswordfist They are Spanish.

  • @1shoryuken That explains it

  • @vaiyt

Because the Japanese are different. Honour...

  • If I could go back to 1992 and convince that SEGA that by 2002 they'll be the steaming pile of shit that they are today, I wonder what their initial reaction would be...

  • @MrJoshuaSalway1990 If it were SEGA's reaction to this very statement? No idea. But would the time come for Segata Sanshiro to be born, the world may never see your remains.

    Forever.

Verdict: don't take any chances. But, on the other hand, you should try the same with Capcom.

  • Sega continues Golden Axe with Beast rider. They continue it with this.

    No wonder Sega is butthurt

  • Mr.X is such a beast in the V5 remake. He killed be about 4 times more than any other boss in the game.

  • @MacavityF damn right, you don't fuck with Mr. X in this game, l even lost a continue to him because of his headbutting and his overpowered machinegun.

  • After reading these comments and finding out Sega did what they did, it just p*sses me off to no end. I was a loyal Sega fan, all the way back in the Sega Master System/Mark III days, and how far that company has fallen. We'll probably see Yakuza 5, or Golden Axe: Beast Rider II, before we ever see Shenmue III, or another quality game like SoRR from Sega.

  • Thumbs up if you want sega to not try and stop Streets of rage remake or any other fan games sega related. (A.K.A:Awesome-related)

  • @MrDevon1987 He can rifle-butt while running too. Sega needs to stop being haters and work with them.

  • @BrickCity4eva agreed...

  • This one I think is a great improvement over the V4 one.

  • @Neocasko Agree, it's more faithful to the original SOR2 Mr. X theme, while V4 sounds more samba-like (or somewhat latina dance theme?)....

  • @franknasch Yes, the V4 one deviated away a little too much from the original theme. It wasn't bad but I didn't think it worked too well. This one is much more faithful.

  • Dear Sega, you got owned. Signed, Bombergames. and they did a good job making X tough as hell instead of him being a gun-toting maniac as he was the first 2 games. He can punch and kick on here.

  • @BrickCity4eva plus his bullets do tons more damage on this game. They made him a true final boss. I can't cay say the same for Robo X though.

  • @BrickCity4eva He's also a decent character for his Second & Third Levels of his "Forward (x2) + Attack" are quite impressive. Try enabling the "Infinite Meter Cheat" for fun. As for his "Robotic" counterparts: the one you face in the BK3/SoR3 route has a bit of SNK Syndrome in it for he kinda spams you with bullets & missiles; the other one as Stage 6 Boss (SoR1) remains more or less the same as in BK3/SoR3 except he tends to hide off-screen in higher difficulty settings, esp. Mania.

  • @BrickCity4eva And headbutt if you grab the enemies the right way.

  • @ranchdressing and throw you too.

  • Comment removed

  • @BrickCity4eva and even bashing you with a reverse "shoulder crash" if you grab him from behind for too long!

  • @BrickCity4eva yeah makes him way more harder especially with the minions covering his ass. and they upgraded the shit out of his gun butt from sor1.

  • @BrickCity4eva True. This Mr. X be gettin' it in!!!

  • @MrMoon360 Try fighting him on Hard or Very Hard...or if you are ballsy enough, Mania. Challenge you will get.

  • Mr. X: Don't underestimate me, you little punks! *Charging Gun Buck Attack* HA HA HA HA HA HA!!!

  • Wow! I like this one better than the V4 one!

  • if Sega had F*ckin Brains they woild hire these people to make maybe a Streets Of Rage 4?? no they didnt acknowledge Bomber Games for nothing. they just told them to shut the download links down cus they did a better job. i'll get a bulldozer and knock out Sega's office for that. just like one of these stages.. you whores.. LOL

  • @MasterBoris86X *would

  • @MasterBoris86X And I'll laugh Like Mr.X!

  • @MrNiconiconico AHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!

  • @MasterBoris86X Be sure to blast "Bulldozer" when you do so.

  • @MasterBoris86X and that's why many people are still jobless -_-.

  • @cubansupreme ha!

  • @MasterBoris86X

As much as I love this remake, Sega are still entitled to close the game down if they want to. There are all kinds of copyright breaches going on. But of course the majority of people here don't give 2 fucks about piracy.

Sega should have either closed it down before it's completion, or instead just took it as a tribute.

Please remember SOR would not exist if it was not for the originators. Come on...a little forethought.

  • @ExtremeBogom that statement is true. but SEGA just doesnt care about things they did good anymore.

  • @MasterBoris86X

What do you mean by that?

That Sega no longer make good games? Or that they actually hate their customers? Or that they outright deny their past?

    I need some clarity here.

  • @ExtremeBogom u just answered it.

  • @MasterBoris86X

    Which one?

    Because I disagree with all.

  • @MasterBoris86X If I see someday Sega making a new Streets of Rage game, then I guess you and a bunch of fanboys should think about the shit youre talkin.

And yes, there is a possibility of this happening, just like Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat rose up again.

  • @meusapi Street Fighter rose up because it's Street Fighter. Mortal Kombat 9 had a lil buzz in the gaming community which i find people should give more credit how they did a good job on the game.

  • Dam sega should bring back the series

  • @MALDASF In the current state they're in, they'd probably fuck it up and any other classic franchise they'd try to revive. The only good game they've put out recently was shockingly enough, Sonic Colors on Wii.

  • @SolidThugKnuckles They did a pretty good job on bringing back Pengo recently, though.

Not that everyone is really aware of THIS kind of classic franchise.

  • @Mysterious0Bob haha xD

  • @Mysterious0Bob tell me about it, them shutting down the Streets of Rage Remake has made me lose faith in Sega, espically since the guys at Bombergames have been working on this project for 8 years!

  • @1shoryuken Wow, 8 years?

And all the work for nothing? Well, we got this killer soundtrack out of it.

  • @dissident93 You sure Sega won't be contacting YouTube shortly about this soundtrack. After all, it is based on their IP, too.

  • @TSMontana Well, I don't think anyone made money of this.

Isn't a loophole about covers and not making money of off it, therefore not violated copyright laws. Am I right?

  • @dissident93 actually yeah...bombergames has the right to make the game as long as the dont sell it.

  • @AlexSmashX3 Still, SEGA found some loophole themselves to prevent the completion of this game.

  • @dissident93 technically the game is completed as bombergames did get some downloads of the final version out to people, that's when SEGA decided to go douche mode. Don't get me wrong though, SEGA will allways be my favorite, but damn are they fucking up right now.

  • @AlexSmashX3 Yeah, man. I feel you.

But, nothing lasts forever, as sad as that is to say. But, Nintendo still makes games like they did in the 80's and 90's.

    Why is SEGA having trouble?

  • @dissident93 Because they failed miserably in the console war. I think that is the reason now. Think about Atari, they no longer create systems now because they have NO CHANCE OF WINNING!! Thats why they only re-created like 5 games from the old days and as you can see are helping with some new games.

  • @JinMasta Well, they did lose the console war. However, more so to Sony than Nintendo. It was the downfall of the Saturn and Dreamcast that lead to the company being a 3rd party developer now.

  • @dissident93 Yeah but the Dreamcast was awesome. They guy from Sega said that he would consider making a Dreamcast 2 if Ivy the kiwi went well but I guess it didnt go well because i haven't heard any news about a new console. I really wanted another system. Maybe they could have done a sony X sega console partnership?

  • @JinMasta Oh, there's no doubt that both of the consoles were awesome. They were just released at the wrong time. I think SEGA is done with home consoles. They're gonna be owned by Sony, Microsoft, and Nintendo for a long time.

  • @AlexSmashX3 Gotta second that because its all just because they wanted to do something they couldn't, which is to have fan ideas. Sega is embarrased and is hiring people on youtube to take down some music and some links of the game?

  • @Mysterious0Bob Mr. X: *runs at Sega representative, headbutts them twice, punches them, then gun bucks them, then proceeds to mow down anyone else with bullets* AH HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!!!

  • @Mysterious0Bob Then make a game like this :)

    Or make sega vs konami

  • @Mysterious0Bob If you were really representing them you would have not said "crap" and would have also appreciated that everyone loves these soundtracks and are remixing them. Also taking the time to recreate what they consider a great game. I'm sure they included somewhere that Streets Of Rage is copyighted by Sega.

  • @Mysterious0Bob You're not Sega corporation, you're God. Quit lying.
