Great video. I also think taking on a label like "butch" allows you to find a community where you feel less alone in the world. I didn't know any butches when I was trying to find my community so for awhile I thought I was FTM. I happened to know a lot of FTMs and that seemed to fit me more than any other women I knew. Reading Stone Butch Blues and tapping into the butch community helped me find a way to express myself in a way that just fits better. Thanks for your video.
