Pretty terrible results, tbh. He should have at least sealed the vacuum attachment with caulking and put some weatherstrip on the table where the frame hits it during forming. Basically, his setup leaks like a sive and that's why he didn't get very good detail from the form.

Looks like you meant to say "...twelve year old to use a circular...". And dremel is spelled with 2 "e's", and solder is spelled much like soldier (a military-like fighting individual), but without the "i". Yes, that's the correct way to do it. Remember to try making a form of your hand first, it's recommended to let the plastic in the oven for 15 hours or more then put your hand on the suction box then slam the boiling plastic over your hand.

Cool Vid Kipkay. 2 things to note. You could just as easily silver tape the plastic to the wood as well. Just make sure to go all the way around to create a tight seal. Also, you could let the plastic get a little hotter. Let it droop more, you'll get more draw. Use baby powder liberally on your positive as a release. Tape any holes outside the frame, waste of vacuum. If the plastic is hard to come off the form a little canned air could do the trick in separating them. As always, cool vid. :)
