  • Sounds like we've got the same problem as you (there were 14 mule deer in our yard yesterday).

We've been in this house for almost a year (moved in June 1st), and we're planting a veggie garden this spring. We're putting in exactly the same fencing as you! We went to the local garden centre, and bought some 7' deer mesh fencing. Wish us luck!

  • gave me some good tips, thnx for sharing m8

    cheerz

  • how about putting up a 7ft or 8ft fence around your yard to keep the deer out love your videos

  • turned out the deer dont mess with the gbarden at all, the only problem I ahve is with incects, but I took care of most of them by spraying the plats with soapy water once a week...

  • wow...10 bucks for a pear tree? great deal you got.

  • Thanks for sharing.

I think you need one more cherry tree. They need to cross pollinate to produce cherries.

I'm not sure if its a similar situation for the pear tree.

    Good day.

  • no for the pear tree you shouldnt need another one. i have a pear and a get a few pears every year

  • your deer sound a lot like gypsy's where i live.

  • We have gypsy moths here too, we have a day where they fly over the whole area and spray for them...

  • Good point, I did think of that, so I put the posts about a foot outside the boxes, I figure if I have a plant thats hanging more than a foot out of the box, the deer cna have a nibble, lol...But I am also goign to use this good deer and rabbit repelent my boss uses, and the deer don't go near it...

  • looks like fun

  • lookin good, i think you might wanna put the posts back a bit though, deer might still be able to get to your plants.

  • how, cool vid pretty small though, and i dont think all the crops you crow will be good.

  • Why not? I wanted to start off small and eventually add to it, if I need to...I have good topsoil to fill the box with, and I am goign to get a few plants instead of just staring from seed, although I do have a few seed sprouts of cherry tomatoes and bell peppers I can transplant when they get bigger...
