TEARS!! R.I.P. Mr. Banks, thank you for utilizing that beautiful voice in singing and leaving for us everlasting MUSCIAL TREASURES. AWESOME uplifting song of Encouragement, Faith and Endurance for the fam/friends. Thx 4 Sharing this
I'm 45 years old and I live in South Alabama I grew up singing all Dramatics songs before my voice changed I could sound like Mr. Banks . I was shocked to hear this news. I'm so sad , their music gave me the inspiration to be the kind and loving father, son and husband that I am today my heart goes out to the family I will keep you all in my prayers R.I.P. Mr. Banks
I've posted this 3 times out of respect and love for Ron Banks and the Dramatics.
Just found out today about Ron. Being originally from Detroit and one who had a brief conversation with Ron Banks in 1970 in the theater at the John Considine rec. center on Woodward when he and the Dramatics were appearing in a talent show, I say Rest in Peace my brother. To his family and brother Michael, who I went to school with, may God comfort you and and give you a peace that passes all understanding.
msebonijet33 Hi, I am the niece of Ron and I was the one who recited the poem. Can you please post the footage on youtube of me reciting the poem? Also my son singing the Star Spangled Banner? Thanks so much. Eboni Banks

Thank you for this post. They sent him away in style and grace. Unfortunately, we have lost one of the great ones but I believe this will expose more to the music of the Dramatics.
Thanks for the Memories from a well polish group that I attended many times in concert, my prayers are with Ron's family and friends GOD BLESS from Delroi.
Lets not forget Lenny in that line up with the dramatics I think they all made it work and the bass also. I will miss the guys but the songs will live on In the Rain will always play on the radio because of the melody and the words. lets not forget stars in your eyes and you know that is great check out the version on soul train so wonderfully bliss.
Ron Banks did a good job with the Dramatics. I love them all and thanks for all the memories during my earlier and now my later years. Peace and love to his family and all of us fans.
L J 'nem sounding good...but judging by the looks from the pulpit....they not liking it too much

Never heard LJ Reynolds in better voice!!! What is wonderful tribute to Ron Banks.

Reynolds singing transends exactly what the Dramatics were all about.
They came from a place too deep for most to reach, I'm glad they brought
it to us.

The Reynolds rap is to me is the best living R&B
singer out there. His range and power is 2nd to
none, Reynolds and Ron were the best combination my ears have ever heard. A distant
second would have been the great Eddie Kendricks and the great David Ruffin. RIP
Ron.
