  • That s a very good tool... only problem is i keep comming up with negative stuff.

  • @gerry2345 What kind of "negative stuff"? Do you mean that when you step back to assess the project, you run into negative thought patterns? If so, I suggest spending some time reflecting on where those negative thoughts are coming from. Do you really believe that you can't do what you've set out to do, or has someone in your past or current life convinced you that that's the case?

  • thanks a lot for sharing such excellent tips for motivation.

  • You're totally right about all of this. I get very motivated by stepping back, looking at my progress, and planning my next moves.

One really important thing I have to add, though, is that it's impossible to remain motivated about something that you don't genuinely care about and enjoy doing. It's important to always ask yourself why you're doing something. If you don't enjoy the process, even if you care about the people you're doing it for, then you'll eventually lose motivation.

  • @Jon166 I agree, although we do sometimes have those projects that we need to complete, even if we don't necessarily enjoy the process. I hope the tips I've provided will help with both situations: projects of passion as well as those of necessity.

  • I'm going to try this out.

  • thx :)

  • great tips :-)
