The Deli Creeps made some really good tunes, and while they're not on the level of Big B in terms of musicianship (IMHO), Maximum Bob and Pinchface are still pretty damned good at what they do. There's a manic insanity to Bob's vocals that perfectly fits with Buckethead's playing.

His music is extremely emotional, I've found. You can't play with the same conviction he does without it, honestly.

If you haven't seen the ClassX videos, check them out. He's just a young pup but he plays with zero emotion. He's tearing up the songs in a cover band. The videos were filmed for the band before Buckethead existed so it takes awhile to catch his face but it's in there. They're not Buckethead videos.

He just has many, many hours and the dexterity to be able to make it look so easy.

I agree, though, emotion is aplenty in his music.
