anyone having problems with the cockpit view such as hippy colors? mine was running fine and then I went ahead and updated my xfx 4890 and thats when it happened.
I prefer Falcon 4.0 with some of the community mods when I need a proper realism kick. (full ramp start, etc.). I can deal with the missile count but I'd like a game that at least feigns a modicum of realism.
That's just the replay camera. The replay camera lets you go from the wide angle, to the chase view, to the first person, to cockpit view. Basically all four major view modes.
Whole reason I made the video was to show that it was not only perfectly possible for the cockpit camera to be used during the Assistance Off stuff but that it was also fully possible to track the action during it.
Yeah, it's a great game just to have fun without all the ralism but it would be even greater if you could use ass. off mode and a cockpit view while flying.

i fly real type of air combat games try wings over europe for 1 and besides it is hugely unrealstick having 70 somewhat missles, dont you think?

lol, well here's hoping. If the views basically already exist it shouldn't be too hard to add them.
On the other hand swallowing their pride to add them? Ah now that's the kicker.

actually, it is a game-selling feature. The trouble here is that they FORCE it on users, when it should be the "preferred" option.
I'd love cockpit view in AOff myself, PROVIDED THAT THERE IS A DOWNSIDE, like, say, easier to stall...
Options are what gamers want, not forced decisions made for them.

I've often thought it would be cool to have an external view so you could really appreciate pulling off aerobatics...
...but not at the expensive of the traditional cockpit view.
