Just returned from the camp last night. The BC conference decided to sell the camp. I am absolutely disgusted!! They prefer to put the money from the sale into newer more modern camps. I pray God prevails, instead of humans!
whoa... i can't believe that the UC is even considering selling this amazing place! Moorecroft saved my life when i was growing up and i wouldn't be the person i am today if i hadn't had the experience(s) and refuge of this sacred land... i hope the church can wake up and truly remember it's first commitment to Mrs. Moore who trusted them to preserve it for all! -thank you to all of those who have put this video and campaign together --i wish i could vote! with much light... carol weaver
I was a camper twice in the '80s and worked in the kitchen for the summer of '91. Moorecroft days were some of the best days of my life. We can not lose this camp. Big business can't win again.

I've gone to Moorecroft since I was a little kid; It's a beautiful place, it's a fun place to be, and some of my fondest memories are memories of Moorecroft.
I can hardly believe that anyone can put a price to the beauty of the camp.
