When I was a child, Lee as the six million dollar man was my hero, and Farah was the female celebrity who made my heart melt the most. I knew they were married, but the whole coincidence on how my two favorites were a couple hit me only recently. I think lots of boys like me back then fantasized having Lee's "super powers" and having Farah as a girl friend. I miss those days, the 70's and 80's! The last year of their marriage they spent alot of time apart filming different movies. Farrah says that she changed and was not the woman Lee married. Even her parents said that she changed and not for the better. They tried to work things out and Lee was hoping things would get back to the way they were. Ryan came along and they both stabbed Lee in the back. Lee waited a year then filed for divorce, what else could he do? you can't work on a marriage by yourself. the end.

I think Lee and Farrah made the best couple in Hollywood. They look so good together, everyone knows how much they loved each other, they were both very famous and had to spend a lot of time at work. I think Lee Majors will always love Farrah. Remember, he dated her for 5 years before he asked her to marry him. I clearly remember an article way back in the 70's stating that Lee Majors didn't want her to act, even in commercials. He was the dominate personality of the couple, kind of macho stating that when she did Charlie's Angels she "only" made $5000 an episode, whereas he made $55,000 an episode, so why did she need to work?

There's so many stories and no one will know the truth. Ryan may be a scumbag, and Lee may or may not have hit her, what we do know is Ryan is there for her now, not Lee.

Actually, Lee made a lot more than her. She was only getting $5,000 an episode during the first season of Charlie's Angels. Lee was making something like $50,000 an episode. She asked for a huge raise to return to CA, and she left when she didn't get it.

While her career may have been part of the reason they divorced, I don't think Farrah not making dinner for him is the whole story. :-) They were married for 5 years after she left CA. They had a lot of time to try and make it work.

The writer Jim Weatherly was a good friend of Lee's and the song he wrote was originally entitled "Midnight Plane To Houston". Jim had called up to Lee's when he was dating Farrah, she answered and she told him she was packing to go home to see her family in Houston. Gladys changed words to better suit her style.
