Skyrim's actually pretty tame for an M rated game. There's like, 3 decapitations *unless you get the perk* and a few areas with mangled fleshy bodies. Even Oblivion was arguably less tame, with mangled dead bodies dangling down from the ceiling in a hellish environment full of what we'd refer to as dinosaurs and demons.

Meaning that, even though she has absolutely no idea of arbitrary concepts such as Good and Evil, she understood that if she "swords" people, they will sword her in response. That means that next time, she will begin to actually "think" about the consequences before acting, to prevent herself from danger. She did not understand that what she did was bad, but that doing it would get her in danger, resulting in her conclusion " People don't want to be sword". A very interesting lesson in life.

The real issue is making sure the kids can differentiate between reality and games. As long as they know the game isnt like real life, there isn't much cause for alarm.
