  • yah the music is crap.

  • Egypt 2011 shows how it's done. Paris 68 was a middle-class street party.

  • All these Jews

  • jewish circus

  • It's not Alex Ubago :s

The original song is by the spanish musician Ismael Serrano.

  • Punk is music's death.

  • shit music

    good idea

  • I was there in 1968 and your choice of music offends me. Sorry - but it just does. On one hand I realise that we fought for the freedom that lets you choose this crap music, but on the other hand I feel you show great insentivity and lack of respect by putting music from YOUR time to something that happened when I was a teenager. In a nutshell this music really pissed me off!

  • You know, some pictures were taken in 2006. I don't think you should feel offended...

  • @sasmanwayne "lack of respect by putting music from YOUR time to something that happened when I was a teenager." that just says how ignorant you are about music. Sorry, but 40 years is a blink, both musically and culturally, specially musically. Also, its a 'tribute', it means he is projecting an ethical perspective of approval, so he uses his musical sense of approval. If he was an historian, as a presentist, he would add ambiguous music, but he's not.

  • @sasmanwayne Funny thing about freedom - sometimes people's freedom causes others to be offended.

  • I am leftist but ı dont like punk

  • same here

  • 1968 in Prag - capitol my Czech matherland was red tanks + red monkies, USSR invasion.

And in Paris? Vive la revolution?

Down with red Paris, revolution and communism!!! Vive le roi!!!

  • you make a very interesting comment- boring french bourgeosie

  • It's not that easy. The wave of the year 1968 reached all countries...In France too, there were things to fight for, and there were things to be angry about...It's not because there were WORSE things elserwhere that it has no value, on the contrary: it shows something really important about year 1968!

  • good song

  • The "French May" Example for Venezuela... Viva l'ressintance!

  • Haha, yeah you're kinda right! I'm French...Bet they pick them up among the dumbest people in the country!

  • je vwa pa ce kil i a de si valorisan mais bon

  • the song is awesome, if you speak spanish.. get the ismael serrano version

  • Where's the one about American students blindly following our leaders while they sit on their couches playing PS2?

  • lol fucking americans

  • The song is fucking retarded. It is a disgrace to the actions of the students and workers.

  • i think a more fitting tribute, would be 'bye bye badman' by the mighty STONE ROSES.

  • The actions of the police disgust me. I admire the young people of France who have the guts to stick it to a crazy and unjust law that give way too much power to the employers.

Give 'em hell French youth! From an Australian buy!

  • You got any video of the blacks stealing the protester's iPods?

  • LOL

  • 1968 = Revolutionary. 2006 = Reactionary.

  • I agree completely. The jusxtaposition of the images is trying to equate May 1968 to spring 2006. Worse, for the unknowing viewer, they are going to think that 2006 was somehow an extension of unfinished business in 1968. This clip does nothing but mislead and attempt to legitimize the often senseless destruction that I witnessed on several occasions during the protests.

  • Well, yeah, you can discuss the juxtaposition. But you cannot deny there are always reasons for people to demonstrate and protest.....

  • Just the stupid afa kids like always...

  • the images are perfect... but I think that The Rolling Stones - Street Fighting Man would fit better... just a comment... anyway, it's great!!!

  • great, just great!!!!

    still standing!!!

  • Recreation in the socialist state, oui ?
