What I've found is that they're more likely to detect you if you set them on alert from killing a target near them, so if you go in a pattern of just killing one at a time and then waiting between kills, you're more likely to get the achievement. it isn't a broken achievement, it's just that a lot of people think that they haven't been detected just because the enemies are running around, when really that's often detection behavior indicator for elites and jackals especially if they roll.

got it, thanks! i was heading up the cliff too far. i did it on easy and used grunt funeral. don't think grunt funeral helped much but w/e

then on the next part, look down and there will be two or three grunts...kill them too but be careful, THEN thats should do it...if not...walk into the open a bit, then run back when u see more enemies coming...hide again and there will be an elite, a grunt and a jackal, kill these too.

I done this achievement this morning...after about 20 goes. You have to stay AWAY from the ledge or they will see you...when you first get to the canyon entrance, in front there will be a grunt o nthe turret, or they will be around it also, kill them, then 2 jackals will walk by the turret..kill them too. THEN...a blue elite will walk by the turret also...kill him...THEN..sneak onto the ledge a TINYYY bit untill you see the far end gunner, be careful he has good vision, kill him. then.

I swear, I've done this about 100 times, tried it on EVERY difficulty, tried with and without skulls, and it NEVER unlocks. I don't even get detected, wtf am I doing wrong? I know I'm not getting detected because none of the enemies even look at me, then once they're all killed the music starts and the marines jump down as the elite comes around the corner, hell. I even just did it with that elite and the pack of grunts that follow him not seeing me.

can you do a walkthrough for the "look out for the little guys" achievement? it seems easy but if sentinels or flood kill a grunt then you wont get the achievement and i have tried like 3 times not killing any and still haven't got it :( it's the only achievement i have left.

Umm, sentinels and flood can kill grunts, I got it by letting that happen. works great with the funeral skull on too :)

@MRMIdAS2k no dude like 3 times in a row i did it on heroic not firing a single bullet at covenant , i killed the first sentinels, ran past the first fight(s) to the banshee, ran (carefully) through the first facility, grabbed the ghost, drove past everything to the next banshees jumped into it and blew up all 3 generators... still no achievement :(

Dude, I did it with funeral on, I saw them explode from flood/sentinel attacks, unless you crushed one in the banshee heading to generator 2, or just before the first facility (they've got the snot cannons there) then I've no idea what you're doing wrong.

As said, on my run, grunts got killed by both sentinels and flood, I still got the achievement.

There are several grunts asleep even if you do shoot the other elites and grunts. They stay asleep the whole time and are super super easy to miss.they are all located along the cliff that you are supposed to creep on. When i did it there are 2 of them.when you get close above them you can also hear them snoring and having little grunt dreams about banging cortanas booty hole...

PRO TIP! - use classic graphics to easily see the enemy, HD graphics have a bunch of bushes and other scenery that kinda get in the way.

Tried it on Normal and Heroic, didn't work on either, tried several times. But did both of those with some skulls, nothing that would give me away though. Finally did it on Legendary with no skulls, worked on the first try.

I realised that the Funeral Skull hinders any attempts at stealth throughout the campaign doe to the fact that it "alerts all sleeping grunts in the area when a grunt explodes, and seems to alert all other enemies too and for some reason they 'insta-spot' you...Might just be me but it'd explain why I've been struggling so much with this achievement haha :) Great video dude, Thanks!

I find the easiest spot is actually a little further ahead. Behind two rocks on the ledge in front of you. They won't see you and you don't have to wait for them all to walk into your view.
