the great thing about the first movie was that the bullet time was real footage..in reloaded they used fake CGI and stuff and it just didnt have the same impact..like with the CGI agent smiths
Yeah the first movie is great. I love the fact that most of it was just wire work, good fight choreography, and imposed graphics. CGI was kept to a minimal. Also the movie felt like a straight foward action flick, with some Sci-Fi and fantasy elements.
Matrix Reloaded and Revolutions were almost ALL CGI, and a lot of action was replaced with long and boring talking scenes. It just seemed like they tried to hard to make those movies philosophical, with more fantasy elements.
